A small snack will be served in the morning as we continue the cruise with a visit to Luon Cave. Back on board your boat where a hearty brunch will be served between 9:30 and 11:00. Late in the morning we will return to Hanoi. Along the way we will stop at a craft shop, operated by disabled people, in Sao Do. Arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon. The morning will be dedicated to visiting some sights in Hanoi, including the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, his old wooden stilt house, the One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple and the Museum of Ethnology. After lunch, we will visit two beautiful pagodas located in a suburb of Hanoi: the Tay Phuong Pagoda and Thay Pagoda. Return to town and transfer to the airport for our flight to Hue. After breakfast, we will take a boat trip on the Perfume River, stopping at Thien Mu Pagoda, which is built on a hill overlooking the river, and then visit the tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, the scholarly monarch who was the 2nd emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. Depart for Hoi An, going over Hai Van Pass on the way, one of the most scenic roads in all of Vietnam Stop in Danang to visit the Cham Museum, where you can admire the extraordinary cultural collection representing the ancient kingdom of Champa. After lunch in Hoi An there will be a tour of its ancient center, including the Hoi An market, the Tan Ky House, the Chinese temple Phuc Kien, the Japanese covered bridge and a workshop producing silk. All day will be devoted to visiting Saigon: the central area and its buildings of French colonial architecture, the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the central post office, Catinat Street (now Dong Khoi) and Ben Thanh Market. Depart for Vinh Long. Boat ride on the Tien Giang, a branch of the Mekong River, visiting the Cai Be floating market. Continue our tour, we will stop on an island to visit a craft factory making rice cakes and sweets with coconut milk. Lunch featuring fish will be in a garden planted with fruit trees. Boat ride to Phnom Penh on the Mekong River, arriving at noon. Lunch at a local restaurant and visit the capital of Cambodia, including the National Museum, the Russian market, the Independence Monument and Wat Ounaloum. Dinner and overnight at Phnom Penh.
Transfer to the airport for our flight to Siem Riep. After lunch we will visit Ta Prohm, the 12th-13th century temple that was left in its natural state, mostly as it was discovered in the mid-19th century.
