Botswana is one of the safest and the best countries to see wildlife in Africa. Okavango Delta, the biggest delta in the world is one of our highlights, but Moremi game reserve, Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls in the Zimbabwe will make your trip the best and memorable.
Serowe Khama Rhino Sanctuary (game drive inc.) After an early breakfast, we depart from Sandton, City Lodge travelling through Limpopo province heading to Botswana. The drive to our destination will take us about seven hours or more (this estimation takes into account border formalities and break stops). Once we cross the border, we drive straight to Serowe and check in at Serowe hotel before we go to Khama Rhino sanctuary for a sunset game drive in an open 4 wheel drive. Another early morning, today we transit to Maun and drive through the flat landscape that forms the Kalahari Desert of Botswana, which is a part of Makgadikgadi Nxai salt pan. Our next destination is Maun, and this is a getaway to the Okavango Delta. After checking in, we go to Maun shopping centre to stock all we need for the next two days in the Delta. Okavango Delta (entrance fees inc). Shortly after breakfast, we leave the lodge and head to Okavango delta in our 4 wheel drive vehicle. There, we will meet the Polas at the polling station, load our camping gear, equipment and start polling to our wild camping site. We will spend two days and one night there. We have one sunset game walk and one sunrise game walk. Relax, but keep your ears close to the ground and keep your eyes open, the bush will have a few surprises in store for you. After spending two days exploring in the bushes of Okavango Delta, enjoying beautiful sun set, sun rise and nature walks, we sadly say good to the bush. We leave just after brunch, so make sure you pack all your camping gear into a Mekoro and head back to the polling station to get transferred to Maun lodge. After we check in at the lodge, enjoy some free time until late afternoon and then get ready for a scenic flight over the Okavango delta. The afternoon flight will be an ideal time. (1 xB) Read more

Makgadikgadi Salt Pan (entrance fees inc.)Today we head towards East of Botswana on our way to Nata. Expect to get there by lunch time and then check in and from there, we will have time relax around the pool until afternoon. Later that afternoon, we will visit one of the largest remaining salt pans, formally known as Lake Makgadikgadi once covered an area larger than Switzerland. (1 x B, 1 x L) Read more
Chobe National Park (game drive & boat cruise inc.) Driving in between game reserves and parks, Savuti and Chobe in Botswana and Hwange national park in Zimbabwe will definitely make our drive to Kasane more interesting. Normally there are big herds of Elephants and other mammals crossing or grazing along the road. After checking in, we have free time until around 14h45 (time changes seasonally). The most beautiful sunset boat game drive starts at 15h00 and goes into Chobe national park and remains there until the sun goes down. (2 x B) Read more

After having breakfast, we hit the road and go to the border to stamp out of Botswana and stamp into Zimbabwe. Once we have done with all the border formalities, we drive straight to the Lodge, check in and go to the activity center for optional activities booking.
