We depart Johannesburg (Pretoria) at 07:30 for the park. The drive is a mere 2.5 hours and on arrival we take 30 minutes to set up our camping area before we go hunting for the big 5! Lunch will be at a picnic spot within the park. We can relax but still enjoy the peacefulness of nature around us. We'll return to camp for a brief rest if the heat of the day is too much before departing for an afternoon drive once again. Dinner this evening will be at the restaurant. Read more

Pilanesberg National Park, 2

We hit the ground running on day 2 at 05:30 with coffee and biscuits before departing for a sunrise game drive. We return to camp for a hearty breakfast and some leisure time. Today we will have the opportunity of visiting the Sun City resort if desired (entry at additional cost). If you prefer we can just head out again and take in as much game viewing as possible. Late afternoon will provide us the best time to see the variety of plant and animal life out and about. When we return to camp your guide will either prepare a South African style braai (barbecue) or dinner will again be in the restaurant. Read more

The highlight of the tour starts this morning as we book you onto a guided morning bush walk with 2 armed rangers. There is no greater safari thrill than getting up close and personal with nature! We'll grab a well deserved mid morning breakfast upon return to camp. We pack up camp and say goodbye as we head back to Johannesburg. Before arriving back we will pop in at one of the various craft markets en route, in case you want a few souvenirs. Tour ends. Read more
