ITINERARY

Transfer to Bwindi mountains

Meet your guide and start off early from Kampala for your gorilla trekking adventure, be prepared for a long day in the car. Along the way you will make a stop by the equator for some photos and have lunch in Masaka or Mbarara depending on the time. Continue on to to Bwindi mountain Gorillas through the neck of the impenetrable forest. Read more

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the gorillas. Have an early breakfast before setting off for your gorilla trekking adventure with a specialized guide. Besides the gorillas this Impenetrable Forest is full of birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hog, forest elephants, statungas and dikers. Enjoy the walk through the forest and spend one hour around the gorillas. After the gorilla trek your guide picks you and depending on the time you are back from trekking you get started on the trip back to Kampala cutting the time of the journey for tomorrow. The aim is to spend the night at the edge of Queen Elizabeth national park, with an exciting drive there with chance of seeing baboons and other monkeys along the way as well as a the chance of spotting elephants from the lodge. Transfer to Kampala

After breakfast you set off towards Kampala. Have lunch along the way. Get back to Kampala in the late afternoon/evening after meeting the Gorillas of Uganda.

  • This is a private safari where you go with a guide in a 4x4 vehicle with pop-up roof. Our guides are English speaking and knowledgeable about the area, nature and culture.

The savanna with giraffes, elephants and all the antelopes. The rainforest and the gorillas in the mist. The Nile with hippos and crocodiles. The Ngorongoro and Serengeti with the lions and other big cats and the awesome number of animals in the big migration. But we also remember curious kids, always smiling and ready for a football game during a short lunch stop.
