Arrival and transfer.

Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet our safari representative who will transfer you to Hotel Ruch in Kampala. You will for an overnight stay (Bed and Breakfast).

Kampala

Kampala- Jinja.

After breakfast, you will be transferred from Kampala to the source of the world’s longest river the Nile. En route, you will pass via Kayunga-Karagi road while here you will begin your cycling expedition in Uganda through the beautiful scenery of the country side to the adventure capital of Uganda for about 56kmand can board when tired. Upon arrival at Nalubale rafting site, you will go for the experience that you will live to remember. Later in the evening, you go for an overnight stay at the Nalubale rafting hostel Jinja (BB). Jinja

Transfer to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary.

After breakfast, we will set off from Jinja via Kampala. As you approach to Luwero you will cycle a gain to Nakasongola Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for about 54km. This is the only home to the Rhinos in the wild in Uganda and offers visitors an excellent Rhino tracking experience. Upon arrival, you will have an afternoon Rhino tracking experience. Later in the evening, dinner and an overnight stay will be at Ziwa safari Lodge (Full Board basis). Read more

Nakasongola

Transfer to Murchison falls.

This day you will begin your journey with cycling heading to Masindi town but as you approach Kibangya (58km) you will board and drive to Masindi while here you will refresh and have lunch. Later you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest conservation area that will offer visitors an excellent encounter with the wildlife. Upon arrival, you will check in at Red Chile lodge and later go for a sunset game drive where you will encounter different animal species that reside in this park. Later in the evening, you will return to the Red chill Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay (Full Board basis). Read more

Murchison Falls NP

Game drive, boat trip & top of the falls

Game drive, boat trip and top of the falls hike. After breakfast you will start your day with a morning game drive in the northern circuit of the park most famously the delta region with rolling plains where you may have sights of Giraffe, Lions, Elephant, Buffalo, as well as many of the other mammals of the park that include the baboons found near the ferry crossing points. In the afternoon, go for a boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls. This is an experience not to be missed! The banks of the Nile are home to many species. You may see huge Nile Crocodiles, big Pools of Hippos and other wildlife that may come down to take water these include; the monitor lizards, buffaloes, elephants and many more. After the boat trip, you will start the top of the falls hike; you will hike up to the point where the Nile explodes violently forcing its self through a narrow gorge to fall a distance of about 150ft down producing a thunderous roar of white water amazing scenery!. Later in the evening, you will return to Red chill for dinner and an overnight stay (Full Board basis). Read more

Transfer to Kibale NP

After breakfast, you will check out heading to Kibale Forest National park the home to the Chimpanzees and the only place in Uganda where you have 98% guarantee of viewing the chimps in the wild, this park also boasts the highest concentration of primates than any other park in the world. You will start your journey with short drive up to Bugungu gate located in the southern section then cycle pasted the escarpment until Biiso town for about 68km. You will then board the car and head to Hoima for lunch and thereafter proceed to Kibale forest NP on the weather surface roads with traditional setting. Chimpanzee &tracking and Bigodi.

After breakfast, you will be ride to Kanyanchu tourist center for briefing before proceeding for chimpanzee tracking experience. There is a 98% chance of coming across these habituated chimpanzees. Aside from the Chimpanzees, the incredibly diverse forest is home to over 13 species of primates including the rare L’Hoest, red Colobus monkey, blue monkey, black faced vervet monkeys, grey mangabey, pottos, baboons and also bush babies. Later in the you will proceed to Tinka’s home stay for lunch before going for the remarkable Bigodi swamp walk in which you may have network of shady forest trails provides much to delight botanists and butterfly lovers, while birders are in for a treat with about 335 species recorded including the endemic Prirogrine’s ground thrush. AM crater walk & transfer to Semliki NP

This morning you will start your day with walk to the crater lakes. Here you will pass via the tea and banana plantations, local villages and with the help of your local guide, you will be able to understand the lifestyle of the local communities. You will hike up to the point where you will clearly see the three crater lakes as well as the Rwenzori mountain ranges. Later be you will return to the lodge for breakfast that will be preceded to cycle to Fort Portal town for about 30Km as you transfer to Semliki valley National park commonly referred to as the “True birder’s paradise”, since it’s one of the famous destinations for birders blessed with different bird species as well as different animal species. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Ntoroko game Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay (FB). Read more

Semiliki NP/ Bundibugyo

Game drives &Nature walk

After breakfast, you will start this day with an early morning game drive in the park. Here you may encounter a great list of the Albertine endemic bird species, lots of primate species and other animals such as the forest Elephants, Okapi, waterbuck and forest warthog may be encountered. In afternoon you will go for a nature walk in the park, you will have chance to marvel at the Sempaya hot springs enshrined in the evergreen hot valley of the great Albertine graben that forms the western arm of the rift valley in which more birds may be sighted as billed stocks and pied kingfisher. You will have dinner and an overnight stay will be at Ntoroko game Lodge (FB). Read more

Semilki valley NP/ Bundibugy

Transfer to QENP

This morning you will drive from Semiliki until you reach Kasese town and from here clients will cycle for about 38 km to Bush lodge in Queen Elizabeth National park, being accessed through Northern crater Area offering breathtaking scenery of the beautiful lakes and rich grasslands which are set deep in the crater valley. Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any game park in the world, from the open Savannah to Rain forest, dense swamps and beautiful crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. The park harbors almost 100 species that include Buffaloes, Hippos, Leopard, Lions, Spotted Hyena and the elusive giant forest hog. There are over 606 species of birds found here including the black-rumped buttonquail, the martial eagle, Verreaux’s eagle owl and African skimmer to mention but a few. The primates include Chimps, Black Faced Red Colobus, Red Tailed monkeys, Black and white Colobus Monkeys, and Olive Baboons. After checking in to your lodge, you will refresh and have a sunset game drive through the park where we will test our chances of spotting the lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, and countless Uganda kobs are often sighted. Kasese /Queen Elizabeth NP

Game drive and Boat trip

We shall set off for an early morning game drive to catch up with early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. This morning, you are likely to meet elephants, grazing hippos, lions, spotted hyenas, bushbucks, leopard, water bucks, stripped jackal and of course the several warthogs plus Uganda kobs after, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxations. After lunch, enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and animals such as elephants, buffaloes may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This boat cruise sometimes referred to as the launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching with over 550 resident species, and game viewing, ideal for the Uganda safari then return to Bush Lodge for dinner and overnight stay (FB). Transfer in the Ishasha sector

This day you have breakfast and later starting cycling for about 50 km heading to Ishasha until clients feel burnt out and then board into cars up to @River Ishasha lodge for hot lunch. Later in the evening you will go out for the tree climbing lions in the Southern part of Queen Elizabeth known as the Ishasha sector famous zone of tree climbing, apart from the lions you may encounter lots of game including; the forest elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, Forest buffaloes and birds. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National park, the only home to the rare mountain Gorillas. En route to Bwindi, you will driver until the main road of Kisoro and from here clients will cycle for about 35km up to Rushaga junction and board to the lodge since the train here is rough to cycle up to the lodge. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at Rushaga gorilla camp (Full Board basis). Read more

Gorilla trekking experience

After breakfast and well equipped with your packed lunch, you will go to the park headquarters for the briefing at 08:00hrs before you set off at 09:00hrs through the tracks in this impenetrable forest to search for the gentle giants. During the Gorilla tracking experience, you may encounter other animal species as well as different bird species. Once the Gorillas have been tracked, you will be given an hour to interact and take pictures of these giant and gentle Gorillas you will ride back to Rushaga gorilla camp for dinner and an overnight stay (Full Board). Transfer to Travelers’ Rest Kisoro

This day you will start your day with cycling mode of acceleration from Rushaga to traveler’s rest Kisoro town standing at about 40km. You will check in at Traveler’s rest for relaxation, refreshment, dinner and overnight stay (FB).

Gorge hike at Mgahinga

This morning you will have breakfast and later drive to the briefing point and completion of pre-hiking formalities. Later you will head out for a hike to the ranges of Mgahinga for a scenic view of the dense forests of Echuya and ragged terrain of south western Uganda. It’s truly a time rewarding experience after the tedious Challenge in hiking the steep slopes. You will see the caves ands and hanging bats resting. Transfer to Lake Mburo NP

After breakfast, prepare for a transfer to Lake Mburo National Park where you will have a chance to set your eyes on to the zebras and Elands. You will drive through area dubbed as the Switzerland of Africa with cascading hills and valleys to the park with an extension to Tanzanian plains with big herds of Impala, Eland, Zebras and other ungulates. For bird watchers, this is one of the best places to find the papyrus bush shrike and the African fin foot. You will have a stopover at Mbarara town for lunch before proceeding to Sanga town where clients will begin cycling for about 27km to Eagle’s Nest lodge in the park. Upon arrival you will go for a sunset game drive and later return for dinner and an overnight stay at Eagle’s Nest lodge (Full board basis). Read more

Bush walk and transfer to Entebbe.

This day you will conduct a morning Walk in the communities surrounding the park and you will may encounter lots of antelopes, zebras, browsers as giraffe towers, Hippos, herds of buffaloes and many long horned cattle grazing in the park. You will later return to the lodge for breakfast and prepare for transfer that will start with cycling from Eagle’s Nest to AKagate on the high way for about 25km then begin drive past the Equator where you will have brief stop for photography and later proceed to Entebbe via Mpigi where cycling shall resume until Kawuku town estimated to cover about 50km. you will again board and drive up to Airport GH for an overnight stay (BB) Read more

This day you will have a late breakfast and then you can go for cycling around Entebbe town and lake shores. You will later return to the lodge for relaxation as you prepare for a fair well dinner and transfer to the airport for your international flight. End of safari.
