Be met by your safari guide at Entebbe international airport for the start your Primates & savanna Uganda safari. This first day you are taken to our guest home in Kampala to relax after the flight and be ready for an early start tomorrow.

Kampala, 1 night

Early transfer - Swift out of the city, it’s around a 5hrs drive with our target to have lunch in Fortportal town and proceed for an evening around in the Tropical forest. Pressure and fatigue is lessened as a punctuation of stopovers at sceneries, typical African village setup in the far countryside and tea plantations along the drive offer us chances of stretching. When entering the Kibale area we keep our eyes open since there is an amazing display of primates in this area. Monkey species that can be seen are for example black and white colobus, red colobus, red tailed monkey and grey cheeked mangabeys. Read more

Kibale Forest NP, 2 nights

Head into the forest of the Primate city of Kibale in the morning for chimpanzee trekking. This is a three hour experience. As an option you can upgrade to participating in Chimpanzee habituation, where you get to follow the chimps for the whole day, a truly exclusive experience. In that case inform us when booking (the quoted price includes trekking not habituation). Kibale Forest national park is a rainy forest and a home to over 1500 Chimpanzees. Here you have the chance to see the chimps close up and capture shots of our closet cousins in the jungle in there frenzy exciting moods as they are grooming, building relationships, bringing up young ones, think and sharing food, plus rare bird species following them. In the forest 9 different species of Monkeys are found so you have chances of seeing red colobus, red tailed monkey and bush babies on a great day. Read more

Kibale Forest NP, 2 nights

After breakfast we leave the forest and drive further southwards with the Rwenzori ranges (Longest in Africa) in view or drive through the Crater lakes area in the Hills. Reach Queen Elizabeth national park to sample out the surprising diversity of Savannah trees and wildlife! Arrive at the lodge in the afternoon and if time allows enjoy a community walk to see the life in the village close by and beautiful craters lake. Read more

Queen Elizabeth NP, 2 nights

Experience Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning, an early game drive that exposes us to diverse animals, Big 5 members Elephants, Buffalos, big cats- Lions, Leopards more times in the evening, warthogs- Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas and many more species that are residents to this park are spotted along the Circuits as we drive along. There is a rich bird life especially our version of storks in the wetland spots as we reach the Flamingoes in the salt lakes. After lunch get ready for the Classic highlights on the 2hrs Boat cruise starting at 3pm on the famous Kazinga channel. This 36kms channel links Lake George and Lake Edward. Here you can see land and water Adapted Hippopotamuses Yawning and some slashing canines to each other, the National Geographical society Killing machine the Nile Crocodile gaping along the Banks and Savannah version of Pigs the Warthog- Pumba of the award winning Lion King are a hallmark sign in this Animal home of Mamaland Uganda. With your Binoculars along the peninsula you have a magnificent view of Birds and animals like the ever playing African Elephants in Waters as we sigh and reset Fatigue and stress, to point zero. Queen Elizabeth NP, 2 nights

In the morning we head to Ishasha, the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park that is famous for its tree-climbing lions. We will drive off in this adventurous vast savannah area of Ishasha with topis and the southern version of elephants to hopefully get the Lions high in the Fig tree branches as we game drive under the thorny savannah trees. Start the day with an early morning game-drive in Ntungwe track looking for hyenas and having another chance to see lions in the fig trees! After hopefully spotting the lions continue on to Bwindi mountains. This journey offers stunning views as we transfer from a landscape of savanna, via cultivated hills to the forest covered mountains of Bwindi. (If we reach early we can do a walk and mix with the locals or relax with the Orphans group performers) Read more

Bwindi NP, 2 nights

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the gorillas, and here you will have the highlight of gorilla trekking. This Impenetrable Forest is as well full of birds, butterfly and plant species plus forest hog, forest elephants, statungas and dikers. After the trek your guide picks you and brings you to the lodge for relaxation. If you wish and time allows we take a village walk. Read more

Bwindi NP, 2 nights

After breakfast leave the misty mountains of the gorillas and continue driving thru the hilly areas with Lake Mburo national park as our target. We aim to reach the lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon we head in to the park and game drive for view of zebras, topis, warthogs, cape buffaloes and impalas. Read more

Lake Mburo NP, 1 night

Get early up for a safari walk to visit the hyenas den, chance to see leopards, zebras, waterbucks, birds and buffaloes in there day break jungle life! Go back to the lodge for breakfast before starting the transfer towards Entebbe. Along the way we make a stop by the Equator, where you can have the experience of standing with one foot on either side of hte southern and northern hemisphere. Connect to Entebbe in time for an evening flight (if your flight is next day we can add an extra night in Entebbe). Read more
