Pick up from your Hotel after breakfast and drive to Murchison Falls National park, en route visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for the Rhino experience. This is the only home for the rhinos in the wild herein Uganda; enjoy a Rhino tracking experience and then proceed for lunch at Masindi town, thereafter enter the park and proceed for the top of the falls Hike, here River Nile Explodes Violently forming a very powerful waterfall. This is an experience that brings all the senses into play: watch waves of white water tumble hypnotically through this six-meter chasm, listen to the roar, taste the spray on your face and feel the rock shake beneath your feet. Proceed to Paara safari lodge (Up market)/ Murchison River lodge (Midrange) Red chill camp(Budget) for dinner and an overnight stay. Read more
After breakfast go for a game drive. This park is the Uganda’s largest National Park and measures about 3840 square kilometers together with Karuma and Bugungu wildlife reserve. The vegetation of the park is savannah, Riverine forest and wood land. During your game drive, you will see a variety of wildlife such as Giraffes, Leopards, Elephants, Lions, Uganda kob and many others. Nocturnal species common in this area are; Spotted and Verreaux’s Owls, and a plethora of spectacular Nightjars, such as Long-tailed and Pennat-winged Nightjar, The mind-blowing Standard-winged Nightjar. Return for lunch and then go for an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you may see lots of hippos, crocodiles, elephants. This morning Go for a game drive in the Park after breakfast, you may see animals like; lions, Buffalo, Elephants, Giant forest hog, Waterbucks, Bushbucks and Kobs. You may also see birds like jacana, shoebill and pelican. Later in the afternoon go for a boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you may spot different animal species such as Crocodiles, Hippos, herds of hippos and elephants sloping down for water as well as different bird species. After an early morning breakfast, prepare for a transfer to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This woodland sector is well known for its tree climbing lions. Arrival and check in at Ishasha wilderness camp/ Ishasha jungle lodge/ Savannah Resort Hotel and enjoy your lunch, in the afternoon enjoy a game drive at the Ishasha in search for these tree climbing lions. After your breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. This park is well known for large herds of Zebras. Start your day with an early morning game drive; residents in the park include Zebras, Impalas, warthogs, buffaloes, Giraffes and different bird species including the rare shoe bill stork that may be spotted. Return for your breakfast and thereafter transfer to Kampala. You will have a stop over at the Equator for lunch and photographs, and thereafter proceed to Kampala; Arrival in time for a transfer to Entebbe International Airport to catch up with your international flight.
