DAY 1
Arrival to Guayaquil
Arrive to the vibrant port city of Guayaquil, where our guide will be waiting for you at the airport. Head to the hotel of your choice, and enjoy of a delicious dinner.

DAY 2
Guayaquil City Tour
Your adventures begin in the morning, as you explore the lively city center of Guayaquil. Here you can go through the modern and old parts of the city, and experience some of the sights and sounds that have inspired art, discovery, and even politics. We will then head to the Botanical Gardens to explore some of the natural diversity of the area, finishing our tour in the Historical park, where we will experience some fo the past and beautiful culture of the area. DAY 3
Guayaquil - Cuenca
Head from the coast to the Andes, departing in the morning towards one of the most beautiful colonial cities of South America. Upon arrival, head to your hotel, and after settling in, leave to visit the highlights of this amazing city.

DAY 4
Cuenca - Loja
Loja is located almost due south of Cuenca, and is considered the cultural capital of the country. Historically many of the countries most recognized musicians have made Loja their home, and the beautiful and peaceful city will welcome you for the day.

Loja - Podocarpus - Vilcabamba
The Podocarpus National Park is one of the best kept secrets of the southern region of Ecuador. Increasingly popular amongst birdwatchers, and with hikers, this beautiful location will welcome you after leaving in the morning from Loja. In the afternoon you will head to Vilcabamba, a city close to the Peruvian border, where some of the oldest living Ecuadorians reside. This place has also become increasingly popular with travelers due to its history as the “Inca’s retreat”, a place so beautiful ancient emperors chose to vacation here. Read more

Vilcabamba - Loja - Cuenca
We begin our return to Cuenca, passing once again through Loja, and then to the colonial Cuenca.

Cuenca - El Cajas NP - Guayaquil
In the morning, and according to your flight schedule, we will head back to Guayaquil. If time allows, we will do a short visit to the incredible Cajas National Park, a beautiful area with massive importance to the city of Cuenca, and of historical value to the ancient populations. Upon arrival in Guayaquil we will transfer you to the airport or hotel (not included). Read more
