Early morning view the fantastic morning sunrise over the mountains. After breakfast drive downhill to reach the third city of the valley – Bhaktapur known as the city of devotees. Walk through the brick paved palace square overlooked by the palace of the 55 windows with its imposing golden gate. Walk to the Nyatapole temple, the five storied pagoda, the tallest temple in the country guarded by the series of mythical animals and deities overlooking the Bhairav temple dedicated to the Tantric deity of Bhairav. After breakfast a 40 minutes drive to the base station of the cable car at Thankot. A ten minutes ride uphill brings you to the top of Chandragiri hill. A 360 degrees sweeping view of the Kathmandu valley below and the spectacular scene of the mighty Himalayan peaks leaves one awestruck. Spend some time here taking in the cool mountain air and stretch your legs a bit. You can sip a cup of coffee in the restaurant while admiring the view. Return to your Hotel. Afternoon is free.
