A full day tour beginning with Swyambhunath stupa a Buddhist Chaitya said to be more than 2000 years old perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor, offering a bird's eye view of Kathmandu city. Proceed to Patan also known as Lalitpur or the city of fine arts. The tour starts at the Durbar square offering a glimpse of medieval Nepalese architecture.. After early breakfast drive 200 kms/6 hours to Pokhara mostly following the Trsishuli and Marshyangdi river. Afternoon a tour of Pokhara covering Bindabasani Temple, Old Pokhara bazaar, David's Fall and the Phewa waterfront.
Drive 128 kms/5 hours via Siddhartha Highway to Tansen, situated at an altitude of 1343 m. from where the views are spectacular. In the afternoon walk around and explore.
After breakfast drive 44kms/2 hours to reach Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. In the afternoon visit the holy sites and the archaeological relics. There are many monasteries here built by Governments of various countries
Drive 114 kms/04 hours to reach our Lodge/Resort in Chitwan. An elephant safari in the afternoon to view the wildlife. Evening a culture folk/dance program. Dinner and overnight.
Today's activities will include jungle/nature walks, canoeing on the Rapti river and a Jeep Safari. Maybe a slide talk show on Nepal's wildlife followed by dinner.
After breakfast drive to Kathmandu approx. 148 kms/5-6 hours. Check in Hotel.
A half day tour of Pashupatinath temple considered as a most sacred Hindu temple in the country. Built pagoda style with a gold gilt roof, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
