The nature escape tour is for people who are in Johannesburg for few days, people who cannot join the over landing safaris, but interested on a short holiday. Travellers will be able to see the most beautiful Panorama route including the Blyde River Canyon and do a safari in Kruger National Park or in one of the private game reserve outside Kruger.
We depart at 7h00 just after breakfast or meeting at the airport after landing. We leave Johannesburg for Mpumalanga province (Mpumalanga means a place where the sun rises). From the Johannesburg, the high plateau grasslands of Mpumalanga stretch eastwards for hundreds of kilometres, offering outstanding attractions especially for those who seek tranquillity or very scenic landscape with panoramic view. The panorama route runs south along the escarpment, an area of beautiful indigenous forests, plantations, waterfalls and canyons which offer spectacular views. We visit the potholes created by the confluence of two rivers of Bourke’s Luck potholes and enjoy the views from Gods Window and over the second largest canyon in Africa the Blyde River Canyon as well as short walks to explore some of the forests and waterfalls. 1xB & 1xD. The safari gets underway after enjoying the beautiful sunrise and breakfast, we start driving towards Kruger National Park making a short stop in Hazyview for collecting our personal needs in the shopping centre. Kruger Park is one of the most famous national parks in the world and the second oldest in Africa. We will spend two days in the park enjoying the morning and night safaris. The day starts with an early safari at 6 am and return to the lodge at 9 am. We have a brunch and spend the day relaxing. The lodge offers night safaris where the focus is on cats or nocturnal animals, the night safaris can be arranged with the lodge. We start the day with breakfast and start driving back to Johannesburg. We make few stops along the way before we reach Johannesburg. Our tour end at OR Tambo airport. Those who are staying in Johannesburg will be transferred to their destinations. 1xB.
