Fianarantsoa city, founded in1830 by Queen Ranavalona I, and have development with the arrival of the missionaries, 40 years later, becoming the centerpiece of Catholicism.
This
city has an important economic and commercial role, thanks to its situation : the RN7 (National Road); road between The East and The South of the country, as well as hosting a rail network.
The economy of this town is based mainly on farming (rice, coffee, clove) wine production.
Departure for Ranohira,and second stop at Ambalavao, famous for its large zebu market every Wednesday. We will stop to visit the wild silk workshop, followed by the Antemoro paper workshop, still made today using the ancient process imported from the Arab world.
Then, visit private reserve pf ANJA that will give you the opportunity to get to know a family of Lemur Makis . Anja will allow us to discover: chameleons, and reptiles of Madagascar.

Transfer to Ranohira, crossing the immense plateau of the Ihorombe.
