After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National park, we will enter the park via the Northern crater Area. This is truly the most breathtaking scenery in the park with beautiful lakes and rich grasslands which are set deep in the crater valley. Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest bio diversity
ratings of any game park in the world, from the open Savannah to Rain forest, dense swamps and beautiful crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. The park harbors almost 100 species that include Buffaloes, Hippos, Leopard, Lions, Spotted Hyena and the elusive giant forest hog. There are over 606 species of
birds found here including the black-rumped buttonquail, the martial eagle, Verreaux’s eagle owl and African skimmer to mention but a few. The primates include Chimps, Black Faced Red Colobus, Red Tailed monkeys, Black and white Colobus Monkeys, and Olive Baboons. After checking in to your hotel, in the afternoon, we will have a game drive through the park where we will test our chances of spotting the lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, and countless kobs are often sighted. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Bush lodge (mid range)/Mweya safari lodge(luxury).
