We will start our adventure in Argentina's never sleeping capital: Buenos Aires. We will walk through the city, attend a traditional Tango show and visit the Delta del Tigre area. Continue to the colonial town of Colonia, in Uruguay, where you will tour the city and spend a day in Carmelo. Then, head towards Uruguay's capital, Montevideo. Visit the city and enjoy a traditional dinner & Show.
Upon arriving at the airport of Buenos Aires (Ezeiza or Aeroparque), you will be received and transferred to your selected hotel in the city centre. The rest of the day will be free, to enjoy it as you prefer in vibrant and amazing Buenos Aires.
The day starts with a walking tour of the city. Around 10 am we departure from our offices to explore the city, it's most beautiful and interesting places. The tour is done walking and travelling by public transport, to visit the Centre, San Telmo, La Boca and Recoleta, where our tour ends. Ideal walk to take photos and tour areas outside the massive tourist circuit. The tour ends around 4:30 pm. At night, between 8 and 8:30 we will pick you up at your hotel to enjoy a beautiful dinner accompanied by an unforgettable Tango Show. The event will take place in El Querandí, one of the most popular Tanguerías in the neighbourhood of San Telmo. You will taste a gourmet three-course dinner with a wide selection of typical dishes and regional wines. The tour departures from the boat terminal in the luxurious neighbourhood of Puerto Madero, where you will have to meet your guide at 09:45 hrs, from there, sail through the Rio de la Plata and the Delta area, to enjoy the best views of the city. Once in Tigre, there is a bus tour, to get to know the main attractions. Continue with a tour on foot through the famous market of Puerto de Frutos. Finally, we will return to Buenos Aires by train to the Retiro station, where the Tour ends. Read more
A driver will be waiting for you at your hotel to take you embark your ferry to Uruguay. Once you get to Colonia de Sacramento, another driver will take you to your selected hotel. On the afternoon, you will be picked up to tour Colonia del Sacramento with the sunset light, enjoying a nice city tour with a professional bilingual guide. Get to know this precious ancient city, with a the sun reflecting on the Rio de la Plata's waters, bathing the city with a warm light. Walk within this ancient Portuguese City from the XVII century, declared Patrimony of Mankind by the UNESCO for its architecture. Wander along the stone streets, the old buildings, old forts and Spanish and Portuguese Museums. Visit the Port, downtown, the Ferrando Beach and the Trees Reserve, the lovely “Rambla” that stretches along the coast up to the famous Real de San Carlos where we will be able to see the “Plaza de Toros”, the "Hippodrome" and old harbor. Hop on the private vehicle with your guide and head towards Carmelo, driving on route 21. Your guide will give you some explanations about the city and its main point of interest. Driving towards north, observe the fertile fields, ideals for agriculture and cattle production. After a one hour drive, arrive at Carmelo and start the tour by visiting Seré beach, where you can enjoy a Yacht port and a local fauna's reserve. Then, we will cross the Moving Bridge, Uruguay's oldest bridge, located on the De las Vacas' Creek ( The Cows Creek). Arrive at Constituyentes Avenue and head towards Plaza Artigas, observe the monument built to acknowledge the city's foundation and visit the Historical Carmen Temple an the Parochial archive. During lunch time, have some free time to eat at one of the restaurants (No included). After getting to know better the city's rich history, we will visit a Wine Cellar, located a few kms away from Carmelo. There, enjoy a wine tasting, trying typical wines such as the famous Tannat. Today, you will have to take a bus to the city of Montevideo. Once you have arrived, make you way to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day to walk around the city
Morning three hour tour to the most “characteristic” places in town that will allow you to get to know Uruguayan life and culture. Walk around the "Old City" and enjoy the European architecture of the buildings, visit the Gaucho Museum, the colourful street markets (depending of the day – street markets are available to visit during Saturdays and Sundays). The tour includes the classical visit to the traditional Port Market, and the famous art galleries. Continue to the residential neighborhood of Carrasco, Punta Gorda and Pocitos and the lovely “Rambla” along the coastline of the city will complete this amazing landscape. On the evening, you will be picked up to go to see a great performance with more than 35 artists, including singers, musicians, dancers and actors, plus a live orchestra. The show begins and ends with a candombe performance, which is an African-influenced musical genre and one of the most significant aspects of Afro- Uruguayan culture.
