During the morning we leave the hotel in a private vehicle, towards the west, all the way to the Cordillera de los Andes. We first take the National Route 40 and then the International Route 7 as if going to Chile. We see the last vineyards located at the foothill of the Andes and slowly enter the heart of the Cordillera. We see Potrerillos lake, that exists thanks to a superb dam which ensures water for the surrounding vineyards of Mendoza throughout the year. We continue to Uspallata Valley, where the Brad Pitt’s movie “Seven years in Tibet” was shot. We ascent until reaching the Puente del Inca (Inca’s Bridge) where we make an appreciative stop: it’s a natural bridge that had a thermal hotel but was destroyed by an avalanche. After the visit we head into Aconcagua Provincial Park, where we stop to admire its summit (6.962masl), the highest in America and in the south hemisphere! Half day excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park in a private service. Located at only 11 km from Ushuaia, and next to the border with Chile, it has 63.000 hectares full of lakes, lagoons and rivers and exit towards Beagle Channel, characteristic that marks the difference with the other national parks of Argentina. We will drive out of the city passing by the slope of the Susana Mount, where there is the Southern Fuegian Railway. Then we continue through the Pipo River Valley to the detour that takes us to Ensenada Bay, where we will contemplate the Redonda and Estorbo Islands and on the other coast the Beagle Channel, the snow-white Mountains of the Sampaio Chain (Chile). Then we will go to Roca Lake and Lapataia River. We will go towards the other end of the Park, where National Route Nº 3 finishes, at Lapataia Bay. Here we can find the Green Lagoon and the Black Lagoon, large growing peat bog. Finally we will pass by the beaver dams, whose footpath will lead to Lapataia Bay. Return to Ushuaia at lunch time. The Iguazu falls in the Misiones province are always beyond the expectation and the imagination of the visitors. They are formed by a 70 meters drop in the elevation of the Iguazu River with 275 falls. We will continue with the lower circuit to observe the Dos Hermanas falls and the San Martin Island.
