We invite you to see Moscow in all its beauty. You will have a fully guided sightseeing tour and see glorious architecture and all the wonders of the city of Moscow. You will visit not only the Kremlin but also the Armoury – the treasury full of history and riches. On the last sightseeing day, you can choose one of the two options: visit Tretyakov Gallery or Kolomenskoye museum, both of them are housing huge collections of Russian art.

10.00 – City sightseeing tour including a tour of the Moscow metro (5 hrs) Enjoy an unforgettable city sightseeing tour with our professional guide. Make your way around Red Square with scenes of glorious architecture with St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Lenin Mausoleum and State Historical Museum. Then continue along the peaceful Moskva River embankment enjoying breath-taking views of the Kremlin before you reach the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, New Maiden’s Convent and Moscow State University. The tour doesn’t stop there as you proceed to Sparrow Hills’ observation spot, offering spectacular panoramic views, to see Moscow at its finest. Travel on through the Memorial Complex at Poklonnaya Hill and Victory Park, Triumphal Arch, Kutuzov Avenue, New Arbat, Boulevard Ring, Pushkin Square, Tverskaya Street before finishing this grand tour at Manezhnaya Square. Full of sights and culture, this tour is the perfect way to see all the wonders of the city of Moscow. Your city tour includes a visit to the Moscow metro. Opened in 1935, it was one of the most extravagant architectural projects, with stations constructed as luxurious “palaces for the people” with their reflective marble walls, high ceilings and grandiose chandeliers. Interior decoration includes bas-reliefs, friezes, marble and bronze statues, stained-glass windows and countless mosaics made with glass, marble and granite. As of 2016, the Moscow Metro excluding the Moscow Central Circle has 203 stations. Its route length is 339.1 km making it the fifth longest in the world. Please note! 10:00 – Tour of the Kremlin territory including visits to the Kremlin Cathedrals and the Armoury (4 hrs) Moscow is inconceivable without the Kremlin. Not only one of the largest and interesting museums in the world included in UNESCO World Heritage List, but also the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation, the Kremlin bears the traces of generations of Russia’s rulers. The Kremlin sits in the heart of Moscow as one of its most impressive buildings. The list of its famous historic events is endless as it holds the ancient Sobornaya Square and many Cathedrals. You will have an opportunity to see all of these glorious buildings including the Assumption Cathedral where Russia Tsars and Emperors were crowned, the Cathedral of the Archangel where grand Princes are buried as well as the Cathedral of the Annunciation, Church of the Deposition of the Robe, Patriarch’s Chambers and the beautiful architecture of Ivan the Great Bell Tower. And what is more – you will have a guided tour of the Armoury - the treasury full of history and riches with gold and silver utensils, belongings of famous Tzars from over the years as well as religious robes, ancient state regalia, weapons and luxury carriages. 10:00 – Tratyakov Gallery OR Kolomenskoye tour (4 hrs) Today we suggest that you make your choice of the two sightseeing options. If you like Russian art and/or want to know more about it, you are invited to delve into the depths of Moscow's art and its underground – Tretyakov Gallery. Founded by the Russian merchant and patron Pavel Tretyakov in 1856, the State Tretyakov Gallery has a unique collection of Russian Art spanning over a thousand years. If you fancy open air museums, we invite you to visit the old imperial estate at Kolomenskoe - one of the most picturesque and enjoyable of Moscow’s out of town attractions. It is an absolute must see for those with an extra day to spare in the Russian capital. It is shrouded in mystery and myth and is nestled on the steep west bank of the river, surrounded by ancient forest land. Now the choice is all yours. Jeg synes du skal vide, at vi har haft en fantastisk ferie i Sankt Petersborg. Hotellet lå et godt sted, havde gode store værelser og fin morgenmad. Vores guide Tanja var altid til tiden, godt forberedt og meget vidende og samtidig rigtig rar. Vores største positive overraskelse var dog almindelige russers hjælpsomhed og venlighed, som vi blev mødt af dagligt på gader og i metroen.
