DAY 1
Murchison Falls National Par
Day One: Transfer to Murchison Falls On arrival at the Entebbe international airport, you will be met by our safari guide who will then transfer you to Murchison Falls. He will be making a drive along the Kampala-Gulu highway. Journey past the famous Luweero triangle which was once a notorious battle ground in the 1980s. Have lunch at the Masindi Hotel. Continue to the Murchison falls national park and on arrival hike to the top of the falls and later check in to your booked Lodge. Read more

DAY 2
Murchison Falls National Par
Day Two: Game Drive and Launch Cruise After breakfast have a game drive on the northern banks of the park. You may encounter buffalo, kob, Jackson’s Hartebeest, waterbuck, baboon, lion and oribi. After lunch enjoy a launch cruise to the base of the falls. View hundreds of hippos, Nile crocodiles and other wildlife that come to the river to drink. Birds are in plenty and include: the African Jacana, Piac Piac, Shoe Bill and many more. Read more

DAY 3
Kibale Forest NP
Day Three: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park After breakfast leave Murchison falls national park. Transfer to fort portal having lunch en route. expect more beauty on the way should the country side of Uganda the Pearl Of Africa, the stunning hills and valleys, birds every where.

DAY 4
Kibale Forest NP
Day Four: Chimp Trekking day. Report to the park headquarters after breakfast for briefing on chimp tracker’s code of conduct. You will then be led by a ranger guide into the forest. If you are early enough you will witness the chimpanzees de nesting. Enjoy other diurnal primates like grey cheeked mangabey and red tailed monkey. After lunch have an optional walk in Bigodi swamp for more primate species and numerous birds. Read more

The trip of a lifetime! We just returned from 10 days Safari and it was just wonderful. Uganda had all the activities we wished for and Home To Africa Tours & Travel had an affordable itinerary that did not disappoint. Elias and Paul met us at the airport and made sure we were looked after and comfortable for the entire trip. Paul is an excellent and knowledgeable guide and very good at spotting animals. We saw the big five animals and so many more and enjoyed multiple game drives and boat rides. Each of the five national parks we visited had their own atmosphere and attributes and we loved them all. This itinerary required many hours of road travel but there was so much to see while riding through the countryside. It was endlessly interesting to see the trading centers, homes, people, and especially the friendly children of Uganda. We particularly enjoyed the game drives and were amazed at all the animal sightings. Our lodgings were comfortable with good food and we did not have to worry about a thing as Paul is an experienced guide and led us along on a trip we will never forget. Home To Africa Tours arranged the next leg of our trip to Victoria Falls which was a sight to see and those plans all fell into place without a hitch. My mind is still so full from all the things I learned on this trip and I have over 300 photos to enjoy. Overall we were very happy with our family vacation with Home to Africa tours and travel. It was planned according to our wishes and we saw, experienced and tasted more than we had ever hoped for (thank you for the unexpected, fantastic birthday and graduation cakes!). The parks, trekking, animals, people, markets, scenery, food and experiences were all wonderful, not to mention the rafting. The lodgings were at times a bit simpler than we'd hoped for but worked out for us anyway. Our guide was very knowledgeable regardless whether it came to animals, history, agriculture, nature, politics, really anything. Unfortunately he was short tempered with little patience and at times put a damper on the atmosphere.
