A very interesting tour of Rwanda. Exploring Kigali, several genocide memorial centers, local community experiences and a gorilla safari. Very well organized with Peter, our local guide and driver and Miriam, the owner and guide. My wife and I were the whole group, and Miriam and Peter became friends.
Kigali is a modern town, and we learned a lot about the genocide in 1994. We would actually like to find out more about the reconciliation afterward. Sharing the daily life of a family in a local village was very interesting, and the gorilla safari was amazing. We had never dreamt of coming so close to them. We were also impressed by the cleanliness all over the country and the beauty of the thousand green hills.
