Arrival in Hanoi, the centuries-old beautiful capital of Vietnam, airport pick-up, hotel check-in, time at leisure.

DAY 2
Hanoi - city tour (B)
Full day for exploring the fascinating city of Hanoi where old and new things blend together, Vietnamese, Chinese and French cultures mix together. Activities: a pleasant walk around the peaceful Ho Chi Minh area, visit HCM Mausoleum (close on Monday and Friday, in Oct - Nov), HCM’s stilt house and garden, the One Pillar pagoda. Take another pleasant walk at the beautiful Temple of Literature. Enjoy lunch with Hanoi popular street food: "bun cha" (excluded) which President Obama enjoyed very much in Hanoi. Visit the Women Museum, the Ngoc Son temple and Hoan Kiem lake. Finally enjoy a fascinating trishaw ride through the hustle and bustle of the Old Quarter and take a walk through the famous 36 busy streets of the Old Quarter and shopping. Read more

DAY 3
Hanoi – Halong Bay (B-L-D)
Morning check out the hotel, transfer to Halong Bay, a World Natural Heritage site. Upon arrival, check in aboard a deluxe junk and start cruising. Enjoy fabulous seafood, stunning scenery, and water activities: swimming, kayaking (excluded), and fishing. Your Hanoi guide will stay overnight at a hotel in Halong city. DAY 5
Hanoi - Lao Cai - Sapa (B)
8:00 AM. Transfer to Sapa by road. 12:00 Arrival in Lao Cai. Stop to visit the border with China and have lunch (excluded) Afternoon transfer to Sapa, on the way, start a trekking to Ma Tra village and Suoi Hoa village of H’Mong people. These villages are still authentic. Transfer to Sapa by car. Check in a hotel and relax. Read more

Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B)
9:00 after breakfast at hotel, start a nice trekking to Lao Chai village of Black H’mong People and Ta Van village of Giay people on easy paths, mostly down hill, altitude is between 1,400m – 1,600m. There will be many photo stops on the way of gorgeous scenery. Transfer back to Sapa by car. Afternoon free time on your own. Read more

Sapa - Hanoi - Hue (B-D)

DAY 8
Hue - Thuy Bieu village (B-L)
Enjoy Hue’s typical features: peaceful, traditional and beautiful. Transfer to visit King Tu Duc’s tomb. Then transfer to Thuy Bieu Village – famous for Thanh Tra fruit (grape fruits). Enjoy a nice bike ride around the beautiful village. Visit ancient ancestral temple and communicate with local people. Visit incense making family, another family of making paintings and discover the daily life of local people while they are working strenuously with joy and enthusiasm. Arrive at Madam Loan's garden house where you will learn how to make some local food and enjoy a nice lunch. After lunch, relax yourself with foot massage and soaking your tiring feet in nice warm herbal water. Saying goodbye to the family and walk to a boat to cruise to the Thien Mu pagoda along the Perfume River. Visit the iconic Thien Mu pagoda – the symbol of Hue city. Transfer back to Hue city by boat. Hue - Hoian (B)
Morning transfer to visit the Hue Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba market. Visit a typical garden house in Phu Mong village, talk with an old lady. Then take a scenic drive to Hoian via Lang Co beach, the Hai Van pass and Danang city. Arrival in the cozy town of Hoian, check in a hotel and relax. DAY 10
Hoian - My Son (B)
After breakfast, morning excursion to My Son, the former Religious capital of the Cham people, a world cultural heritage site. Enjoy the scenic landscapes and mysterious Cham arts and architecture. Transfer back to Hoian. Afternoon enjoy a relaxing city walk to more than 200 years-old temples and houses: Hoian Ceramic Museum, Fujien temple, Japanese Pagoda bridge, Phung Hung Ancient house. Hoian - HCMC - Cu Chi (B)
Morning transfer back to Danang airport to take a flight to HCMC. Upon arrival, transfer to Cu Chi and visit Cu Chi Tunnel where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing a web-like tunnel system of more than 200km in length which provide shelters for Vietnamese guerrillas during the Vietnam War against American troops. DAY 12
HCMC – Mekong Delta (B-L)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to China town, visit a busy market and the colorful Quan Am pagoda. Then transfer to Phong Nam in Ben Tre - Mekong delta. Boarding a boat and enjoy a nice boat tour. Cruise along An Hoa river, then stop on land, visit a handy brick-kiln, a charcoal workshop – make products from coconut shell as active charcoal, material for battery. Biking on shady paths and rice field in Phong Nam village, visit a rice paper workshop. Back to boat, take a visit to handy coconut processing workshop, then turn on water palm scissors canals where they look smaller and smaller to Nhon Thanh countryside. Visit a coconut candy mill and enjoy coconut candies. Take a short walk to family making sleep mats and enjoy fruits in farmer house. Continue with a tuk tuk ride through the rice fields, exploring the local life around. Stop at local restaurant for lunch with local specialties. Take row boat and motorboat back Hùng Vuong pier.
