Upon arrival-meeting with guide and transfer to hotel Siem Reap is the nearest town to the incomparable Khmer temple complex of Angkor. From the 9th to 15th Century, Angkor was both the power base of a mighty military and political force, and the heart of a rich and sophisticated civilization. We will see massive stone monuments, wide majestic causeways, imposing gateways and towers – all in a wonderful jungle setting. Most of our afternoon is dedicated to a visit of the most famous temple - magnificent Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We will enjoy exploring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Intricately carved bas-reliefs extend the length of the outer walls and corridors, depicting mythological scenes and day-to-day life at the time of Angkor's construction. Late afternoon, climb up to Bakheng Temple perched on top of a natural hill with spectacular views over Angkor Wat. 06:00 – 08:00 The day starts early onboard with Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Tai chi also called Tai chi chuan, combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements. Coffee, tea and pastries for breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape. 08:00- 11:30 Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes for cave visiting. Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the biggest cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Return to the boat by tender. Proper shoes are highly recommended. Back to Glory Legend Cruises. Our day will start with a visit of Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Then we can make a stop at some local workshops and handicrafts villages, where you can see how people make rice paste, coconut candy, rice-paper for spring-rolls, A smaller dug out boat will take us deeper into the delta through small canals to enjoy the tranquil beauty.
