Annapurna Base Camp Trek is also known as Annapurna Sanctuary Trek. Annapurna (8091m) is the 10th highest mountain in the world, and a trip to its base camp is something that you will cherish forever. The trek offers you a close-up and rewarding views of Mt Fishtail, entire Annapurna range Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Gandharvachuli, wonderful mountain atmosphere with magnificent views of surrounding peaks, relaxing hot springs, lush-green forests and more

Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at the airport, meet and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, you have an option to be escorted on a stroll around Thamel and the local streets of Kathmandu. Welcome dinner in the evening with a typical Nepali cultural program. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Drive to Pokhara

Early morning after breakfast, drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu via Prithvi Rajmarga, which is 207.3 km, takes 5hrs approximately. Along the way we will stop in scenic spots, for lunch and to get fresh as well. Drive Pokhara to Nayapul

Drive Pokhara(915 m.) to Nayapul (1050m.) by Private vehicle, which takes 1.5hrs drive. Begin trek from Nayapul (1050m) to Ulleri (1960) via Birethanti (1065m) and Tikhedhunga (1577m) which takes approximately 6 hours. Overnight at lodge in Ulleri.

Early morning 1.5km hike to Poon Hill (3210m) for great sunrise views of the Himalayas including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m.), VarahaShikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna (8091m.) and many more snow capped mountain. Poon hill is the highest hilltop point and best close up view on the Ghorepani trek. Trek from Tadapani to Chhomr

Start steep downhill walk through the forests of rhododendrons, leaving Tadapani and descending through the forests, reach Gurung village of Gurjung as the trail eases in the evening reach to Chhomrung which is at the elevation of 2140m. Overnight at a guesthousein Chhomrung.

Trek from Chhomrung to Dovan

Our trail drops down to the ChhomrungKholaand again we continue climbing to Khuldighar We walk little further clearing the forest and follow the steeply down trail towards the bottom of the gorge of Dovan. We stay overnight at a guesthouse in Dovan.

Trek from Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) to Bamboo (2345m) – 6hrs Today, we return to Bamboo following the same trail back. Our trail drops by 1700m to the bank of ModiKhola to Bamboo at 2345m. You can find few teahouses/lodges available to stay at Bamboo. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Trek from Bamboo to Jhinudada hot Spring (1780m) – 5hrs Until Chhomrung, we follow the same trail back from Bamboo. Once we have passed Khuldighar, we continue our trail through rhododendron and bamboo fields. The trail descends very steeply from Chhomrung to Jhinu Hot Spring. The company was able to manage all the services smoothly and made the memorable trip in Kathmandu. Do not be afraid of Earthquake; the government has done very good job, lots of cleaning up and reconstructions are going on. There are many places to go without facing any problems. Feel free to make a trip to Nepal nothing to afraid of and you will feel the completely different and unique.
