Gazetted in 1948, Tsavo East is located 160 kms from Mombasa. It is home to the larger mammals : the red elephant, Rhino, leopard, buffalo, lion, hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life with over 500 recorded species. Pick up from your beach hotel and drive to TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK with a game drive en-route to the lodge. Check-in and Lunch is served. Tsavo East is home to the red elephants and the maneless lions amongst other attractions such as Aruba dam, Yatta Plateau and Mudanda rock. At 16:00 Hrs embark on an afternoon game drive. Read more
Tsavo West National Park has a variety of wildlife and birds. The eastern black rhinoceros, hippopotamus, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard and Masai lion are just a few we may mention. Other smaller animals can also be spotted in the park, such as the dikdik, hartebeest, lesser kudu and Masai giraffe. Gazetted in 1948 the park has a size of 9,065 km². Early breakfast (06:30h to 07:00h). Depart with morning game drive through Tsavo East and exit the Park via Manyani gate. Drive to Tsavo West to arrive in time for Lunch.
