Drive from Samburu to the Aberdare National Park. Arrive at the famous Treetops lodge at 12 pm. Depart the Treetops for Lake Nakuru National park. View Thomson falls and the Rift Valley Escarpment on the way. Arrive in time for lunch at the Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. Have a game drive in the afternoon and have a view from higher ground and return back to the Lodge for the evening.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Masai Mara game reserve. Certainly the most frequented game reserve in Kenya, Masai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains divided by the Mara River and its tributaries, and punctuated by marshes and forests. During the seasonal migrations, Masai Mara is home to up to a million wildebeest and an equally impressive number of zebra that move into the area from neighbouring Serengeti National Park, in Tanzania. The Reserve is home to all the big five and it is also possible to observe; baboon, eland, ostrich, bat-eared fox, jackal, Cheetah, and the rivers abound with hippos and crocodiles. Be ready in the morning for a long drive to Amboseli National Park. Have lunch at the Carnival Restaurant in Nairobi, famous roasted game meat. Arrive at Amboseli Sopa Lodge late afternoon. The trip to Maasai Mara was excellent. We managed to get up close with most of the wild animals as the professional driver/guide knew where to find all the animals in their natural territories.
