After breakfast, driver will pick you up and transfer you to Talisay Batangas, A 2-hour drive to the countryside south of Manila. Explore the the world’s smallest volcano, Taal Volcano. What makes it more unique is the fact that the volcano itself has a lake of its own inside its crater which is called the "Crater Lake". Have your lunch in the resort and relax for a while before proceeding to Pagsanjan Falls. One of the most visited tourist spot south of Manila and is the place where the movie Apocalypse now with Marlon Brando was shot. Once the trip starts, you will enjoy the lush greeneries and towering cliffs. Vast rice fields and coconut plantation can be seen along the way. Hop into a dugout canoe called 'Banca' and go where your feet won't carry you. Be prepared to get wet, water runs deep and strong in the Pagsanjan River, benevolent at times but not manageable during stormy weather when rain prods white-water mass racing downstream. We decided to meet in Manila (3 couples, friends reunion) and enjoy the Philippines, both Manila and an island. I took up on me to arrange it with a local tour company and after reading reviews ended up with Erez and his local team at Tourismo Filipino. I couldn't have made a better decision. Erez picked well our wishes and needs from our emails and phone conversations. he understood well the things we want to explore, our expectations from hotels and arranged it all in a great way, with looking into all the details and it all went very well. was great organized and exactly to our taste. We were looking for a nature and cultural experience and got it in a well done fashion. Erez helped a lot with his ideas about places and the pros and cons of doing things one way or another but left it all to our decisions which we liked a lot ! Both Erez and his office team were very responsive, updated us every day as needed and took care for all our needs. Everything was on time, with great comfort cars, pleasant drivers and local tour guides - everything we could have asked for.
