DAY 1
Guatemala Airport – Guatemala City
Arrival to Guatemala City airport and transfer to your hotel in Guatemala City. Lodging: Hotel Radisson or similar.
DAY 2
Guatemala City - Chichicastenango- Lake
Breakfast. Departure to Guatemalan Highlands with destination to the village of Chichicastenango, where we will visit one of the most famous indigenous markets in all Latin America. That day, we will enjoy a living experience, where the travelers will have a corn workshop with local women. Corn is the most important staple food in Guatemala. DAY 3
Atitlan - Santiago- Guatemala
Breakfast. Today we will take a boat to cross Lake Atitlán –once Aldous Huxley said that “it is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world”. We will visit the Tzutuhil town of Santiago Atitlán. After the excursion, we will go to Guatemala City. Lodging: Hotel Radisson or similar.
DAY 4
Guatemala - Tikal - Antigua
Breakfast. We will have the day off to make an optional tour to the Mayan city of Tikal, the jewel of the classic Mayan world. Transfer to La Antigua, colonial city declared World Heritage Site. Lodging: Hotel Villa Colonial or similar.
DAY 5
Antigua
Breakfast. We will have the day on our own to make a tour through the stony streets and pathways that will transport you to La Antigua from the XVII century Lodging: Hotel Villa Colonial or similar.
DAY 6
Antigua
Breakfast. We will have the day on our own to make a tour through the stony streets and pathways that will transport you to La Antigua from the XVII century Lodging: Hotel Villa Colonial or similar.
DAY 7
La Antigua
Breakfast. We have the day free to enjoy La Antigua and the hotel facilities. As an optional activity, we can visit a coffee farm. Lodging: Hotel Villa Colonial or similar.
DAY 8
Goodbye to Guatemala!
Breakfast. Transfer to Guatemala City airport.
