Start in Cape Town with some adventures before departing for the Garden Route to experience the thrill of game driving in an authentic BIG 5 National Game Park, while touring the coastal regions of both the Western and Eastern Cape. On this tour we visit Route 62, the Karoo and Garden Route all the way to Jeffrey’s Bay. Saturday: Cape Town to Cape Agulhas via Hermanus Leaving the city behind you we travel the picturesque Whale Route to Hermanus where you also have the option to go Shark Cage Diving in Gansbaai! If you don’t want to go Shark Diving, you have some time to explore the beautiful little town of Hermanus and see if you can spot any whales. We then move onto Africa’s southern-most tip, Cape Agulhas, where we overnight. Sunday: Cape Agulhas to Sedgefield via Wildenerness Today we visit The Garden Route National Park where we canoe and hike to a waterfall before ending in Sedgefield where we spend the next 2 nights. Included Highlight: Canoe trip & hike to waterfall Optional Activities: Beach time
Monday: Oudtshoorn day trip We head over the Outeniqua Mountains where we go on an adventure tour through the Cango Caves, visit a working Ostrich farm and a wildlife ranch where you can cage dive with crocodiles and even pet a cheetah! Wednesday: Addo National Park to Sedgefield via Port Elizabeth and Knysna With an early rise, we embark on an unforgettable journey in search of the Big 5 in Addo National Park. We then make our way through Port Elizabeth and later stop to admire the view of the Knysna Heads before arriving in Sedgefield where we spend the night. Thursday: Sedgefield to Cape Town via Swellendam This morning we will enjoy some fun with a canopy tour, experience the thrill of crossing rope bridges, wobbly crossings and zip wires high up in the trees.
