A great trip which spend about 6 days of Wildlife viewing in different private and National Parks, beautiful scenery of mountains and rivers in Damaraland with Desert Elephants, the skeleton coast and Swakopmund/Walvis Bay, offering numerous activities i.e: boat trips, dune drives, scenic flights and more. Visit the Namib Desert dunes at Sossusvlei with some of the highest dunes in the world and Windhoek with its rich history from German colonial times.

ITINERARY

Windhoek City

Arrive and be met at airport. Transfer to Windhoek hotel. Afternoon City tour with guide. Dinner and overnight

Do two activities: Morning and afternoon: Game drives for wildlife viewing. Visit a Bushmen village near the lodge (Optional and for your own account.)

Do early morning and afternoon game drives in open sided 4x4 vehicles for wildlife viewing. Visit a Bushmen village near the lodge: Optional. Relax and enjoy wildlife coming to drink water at the waterholes around the lodge for great photos of many species of wildlife and birds.

ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK

Depart via Otjiwarongo to CCF (Cheetah Conservation Ranch) to arrive before noon. Lunch, visit the information centre to see a video about Cheetah conservation in Namibia and CCF project and attend the Cheetah Feeding. Go on open sided 4x4 vehicle into camps to see more Cheetah for great pictures. Depart to Otjiwarongo to check in at the lodge. Dinner and overnight. Read more

Depart via the park for about 200 km and drive to Opuwo - Kaokoland. Arrive early afternoon to check in at your lodge. Visit Himba villages during the afternoon to meet these people who still live their traditional way. Depart via Uis to Henties Bay at the coast and enjoy lunch. Visit a Shipwreck and arrive in Swakopmund early afternoon. Visit the street markets for handmade articles and shopping malls. Dinner at one of the famous seafood restaurants.

Depart early morning to Sesriem to enter Namib Naukluft Park at Sesriem and drive through the Tsauchab river to Sossusvlei. Visit Dune 45 and make several stops for great photos of the dunes. Do a short walking trail to the Dead Vlei and climb surrounding dunes and Big Daddy dune. Visit Sossusvlei where the river ends in the dunes.
