On this safari heading to western Uganda, you visit two National Parks i.e Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Mburo National Park. At Queen Elizabeth where you will enjoy a launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel, game drives to see animals like lions, hyenas, leopards elephants and many more. However Queen Elizabeth also has other interesting things to sight like dozens crater-lakes, salty and fresh water lakes, views of the Rwenzori Mountains.

You are up early morning. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and be ready to commence your transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park at 6.30 am. The 7-hour drive takes you through Uganda's leafy central plains - driving through tea plantations in or near Fort Portal town, before heading down into the rift valley, with the Rwenzori Mountain ranges in the distance on your right and the rift valley on the left. After an early breakfast at 6:00 am, your guide together with a game ranger will take you on a game drive to the northern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Kasenyi track in search for lions, hyenas, buffaloes, leopard, water buck, bush bucks, Uganda Kob plus many bird species including ibis, fish eagles and vultures etc. You will head back to your lodge for relaxation and lunch. After lunch, you will embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel – a natural channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. On the cruise, view great numbers of wildlife including elephants, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes and large numbers of birds like eagles, kingfishers, eaglets converging at the channel waters to enjoy a sip of the natural waters. This morning, after breakfast, you will set off for Lake Mburo National Park – one of two parks in Uganda where it is allowed to go for a bush walk with an experienced ranger to see game at close range. You could choose a bush walk, horse-back safari or ride in the park on a mountain bike as you view game. You check-in at Mihingo Lodge and enjoy lunch. After lunch, you can choose two optional activities including a mountain-bike safari ($15 p.p extra not included in cost) or a horseback safari ($60 p.p extra not included in cost) for 2 hours. Unforgettable Murchison falls & Budongo! We spent 6 day Safari tour days on safari with Harrison our guide/driver from StarMount Safaris. We weren't expecting a welcome party at the airport but there they were; the owner and the guide to give us a warm welcome to Uganda.
