After meeting at Malaga airport in the early afternoon, we have a two hours transfer by road to the World Heritage city of Cordoba. We enter the city crossing the great Roman bridge built over the Guadalquivir river by the emperor Augustus. An orientation walk reveals the architectural integrity of this city, once the most splendid of the civilised world. Granada - 1 night

Granada epitomises the splendours of al-Andalus and formed the nucleus of the Moorish Nasrid Kingdom for 200 years. After breakfast, we set off in the footsteps of famed 19th century American author and traveller, Washington Irving, to the site from which this Kingdom was ruled: the magnificent Alhambra. Dedicating the whole morning (aprx 3 hours guided tour) to this remarkable architectural complex, we have reserved entrances to both the Alhambra and the Generalife. The Alhambra, arguably one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, is formed of a myriad of towers, gardens, palaces and residences, of which our focus is the most splendid: the 13th century Nasrid Palace. We continue to the Generalife, The Garden of the Builder, to see the famous Patio de la Acequias, the Regal Hall, the gardens and the original Escalera del Agua. Today a light lunch will be served at the terrace of the Parador overlooking the Generalife gardens. In the afternoon you will have some free time at your own leisure and in the evening we are off to another gastronomical experience in town. Read more

We just came back from a five weeks trip to Andalucia and we don’t have enough words to thank Rosa for such a wonderful trip. Working with her from start to finish was a true pleasure. Every aspect of the itinerary she put together worked perfectly and we are still glowing from how exceptionally pleasant the entire experience was. We’ve have a lot of special moments on this trip but the most memorable one was to experience Semana Santa in the real crowd and surrounded by locals Read more

I never thought of having handcrafted travel but it was incredible and would do it again in a heartbeat. Rosa Lara did an amazing job of fitting a lot into a two week vacation, which allowed us to make the most out of our time in Spain. She fits in the perfect balance of tours and free time. She was attentive to email and coordinating the perfect itinerary prior to our departure, the online app to view the itinerary during travel was super helpful. Thanks again for the great trip! What a fabulous trip! Excellent communication prior and during the trip. Comfortable transportation. Very knowledgeable guides and perfect accommodations, type boutique hotels which gave us the true flavor of the country since they were all historical buildings. Our host Rosa, was so special that we cried when we said goodbye…. We would suggest to anyone that wants to explore Andalucia to use this company. It is a must for the best experience and service.
