Visit Jatiluwih, the terraced rice field listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites Visit Candi kuning in Bedugul highland, a local market selling fresh fruit vegetable, and flowers. Visit the Supreme Water Temple of Pura Ulun Danu Batur on the edge of Lake Batur, regarded as the ultimate origin of every spring and river Visit Alas Kedaton, a 12-hectare forest which houses an ancient temple, around 400 long-tailed or grey macaque (Macaca fascicularis) and large bats. Visit the world famous Tanah Lot temple that sits on a barren volcanic rock in the ocean, sometimes pounded by huge waves and learn about the legends that abound. From about 2.30pm onwards, the guide and driver will pick you up to visit the Garuda Wisnu Cultural Park where you will be able to visit and explore further the culture and heritage of Bali and Indonesia, witnessing the huge mythical Garuda bird where it is a symbol of Indonesia. After this, we will proceed to visit the famous Uluwatu Temple, perched on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean and located at the most southern tip of the Bali Island. Here, withness the many rituals of the Balinese as well as watch the famous Kecak Dance being performed on the cliff with the ocean and the beautiful sunset as the backdrop. This performance is world famous and the only "music" is the chanting f about 50 bare chested men, sitting around the dancers depicting the story of Ramayana. We recently visited Bali for our honeymoon and wanted to learn more about the culture and see the sights. Our friend recommended Smailing, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Farida was kind enough to meet us in Nsua Dua so we could select a hotel in Ubud and plan a romantic dinner. Together we planned several sight seeing trips with guide and driver. Farida recommended Maya Ubud, which we loved! The villa was amazing, the romantic dinner was very special and the food everyday was delicious. We enjoyed every excursion; from visiting the temples, seeing the ketcha dance, shopping and visiting a waterfall. Our guide August was knowledgable, friendly and provided just the right amount of information and guidance. Our driver Wayan, took such good care of us, safely navigating the streets, promptly picking us up and always offering us a cool towel or water. Smailing's personal touch and attention to detail really made our vacation one of the best we have every had.
