Quetzaltenango - Almolonga - Zunil - Salcaja - Guatemala Breakfast. Today we will visit the market of Almolonga, known for its generous crops. Breakfast. Morning boat ride through Río Dulce, a unique place of ecological and natural richness. Through the ride, we will go by boat to the touristic site of Cayo Quemado, to have a living experience. With the community members, we will enjoy a culinary workshop preparing a delicious winkle (also known as “burro”) or shrimp and coconut ceviche. After lunch, we will continue our boat tour and head to Río Dulce town, where our transportation is going to be waiting to continue our trip to Petén jungle. Lodging: Hotel Villa Maya or similar.
