From this vantage point it is possible to enjoy unique bird sightings, part of zour Victoria Falls Tour. Birdlife International lists the Batoka Gorge as an ‘Important Bird Area’ on the basis of its conservation importance. Four species of note breed in the gorge, including the Taita falcon (a small, agile endangered raptor). While on this Victoria Falls tour, it is also possible to do a gentle paddle in a canoe on the upper Zambezi. The most luxurious way to experience the Zambezi is by boat on a sundowner cruise.
