AMMAN-JERASH-UMM QAIS-AMMAN
Breakfast-Dinner buffet at the hotel. This morning we drive two hours from Amman to Gadara (Umm Qais), which belonged to the famous Decapolis, a union of 10 cities, founded by Alexander the Great. Here you have an overwhelming view over the north Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights and the Sea of Galilee. AMMAN-BETHANY-MADABA-NEBO-PETRA
Breakfast-Dinner buffet at the hotel. This morning drive to BETHANY BEYOND, where Jesus was baptized, has long been known from the Bible (John 1:28 and 10:40) and from the Byzantine and medieval texts. After that we continue the trip to visit the Sanctuary of MOUNT NEBO in memorial site of Moses (peace be upon him), the supposed site of his death and burial, and a center of pilgrimage since the early Christian era. This place hidden behind an almost impenetrable barrier of mountains that feature incomparable scenes that makes the most majestic and imposing site. Petra is considered the most famous and beautiful site in Jordan. It is the UNESCO World Heritage and one of the wonders of the world.
