DAY 1
Arrive in Blantyre
Arrive at Blantyre Chileka Airport where you will be met by your RSC guide and transferred to your lodge in Satemwa Tea Estates.

DAY 2
Day at Huntingdon House
After breakfast, while on the Satemwa Tea Estates you will go to the tea factory for a tea-tasting tour. One of the not-to-be-missed experiences unique to staying on a tea growing estate. This is a definite for tea enthusiasts and simple occasional tea drinkers alike. On your Satemwa Tea Estates, your guide will explain the full process from planting through to harvesting and production whilst titillating your taste buds with various teas, including ‘white’ and ‘green’ teas and other Satemwa specialties. See if you can taste the difference! For the afternoon, you can choose to just relax and enjoy the old charm or take a stroll in the tea fields of the Satemwa Tea Estates. Read more

DAY 3
Travel to Liwonde National Park
Depart Satemwa and travel onto Liwonde National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, kick back and relax waiting for an evening game drive at 4:00 pm
Mvuu Lodge, 2 Nights
DAY 4
Day at Mvuu
Wake up early and go on a morning nature walk before breakfast. While on the Mvuu lodge, enjoy getting closer to the flora and fauna in the park away from the confines of a safari vehicle on a nature walk with an experienced guide. Suitable for age 12 and above, closed shoes and safari coloured clothing required to be worn. After breakfast at the Mvuu lodge, join a river boat safari. Superb river cruises take in the languid Shire River, providing the perfect opportunity to get close to hippo pods, bathing elephant, crocodile and colourful birdlife. After the boat safari, spend some private time to yourselves on the Mvuu lodge waiting for another evening game drive. Read more

Travel to Cape Maclear
Depart Liwonde National Park soon after breakfast and travel onto Cape Maclear, arriving at Pumulani Lodge in time for lunch.

Day at Cape Maclear
After breakfast, you can sample activities and enjoy all you need. Beach · Enjoy the peace and quiet and relax under the shade of a parasol or tree on the beach with a good book.

On the water · The 40ft traditional, hand crafted dhow is a slow and relaxing way to enjoy the tranquillity of Lake Malawi. Whether it be on a early morning breakfast cruise or a magical sunset cruise. · The 2 speedboats can whisk you around the lake with various water activities such as water-skiing, wakeboarding and tubing. Or an exhilarating drive to secluded spots where you can jump out the boat and snorkel or dive taking in the clouds of tropical fish that inhabit the water. · For the more experienced sailors there are two dhingys which are great fun to nip around the lake in.
