Phnom Penh

Breakfast at hotel,visit The Royal Palace - Silver Pagoda, home to the Cambodian royal family and a symbol of the nation. Seeing the Napoleon III Pavilion made from iron, a gift from the French emperor in the 19th century and continue to the Silver Pagoda, named after the 5000 silver tiles covering the floor, each weighing 1kg. Then visit the National Museum, home to the world's finest collection of sculpture from the Angkor period. Afternoon, learn about Champey Academy of Arts, it is one of the local professional and non-profit schools in Phnom Penh working on Cambodian traditional performing art training and art instruction. Then Visit Genocide Museum “Tuol Sleng” The site is a former high school which was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime from its rise to power in 1975 to its fall in 1979. After breakfast, we on our way to Cambodia's second largest city, Battambong Province. We make a stop and visit to Les Artisans d'Angkor silk farm. It is a professional training school, to help young Cambodians rediscover traditional handicrafts and give them the opportunity to organize into a self-sustaining handicraft network and to take part in the rebuilding process of Cambodia Afternoon, Take part in the daily activities such as the preparation of the traditional fish paste “Prahok”. An unforgettable experience, accompanied by the local children’s smiling faces and waving hands along the ride. You will find great joy in returning their happy shouts of “hello”, Visit Wat Ek Phnom upon arrival. Start your city & temple tour with a first visit to Wat Traimitr (Golden Buddha Temple), where the 5.5 tons of solid Golden Buddha is housed. Then visit to the Emerald Buddha Temple, where it houses the real green jasper Buddha image inside the hall. This is one of the most respected Buddha images in Thailand and a Royal family member has to come and change the robe on the image 3 times a year in accordance to the season. Then within the same compound, a short walk to the ROYAL GRAND PALACE.
