Morning departure to Merida, with stops along the way to visit important archaeological zones. The first one is Ek Balam, small and little known, but extremely interesting. After this visit, we continue to Chichen Itza, Mayan Capital of Yucatán, where you will be able to admire ruins that are famous all over the world, like the Pyramid of Kukulkan. Today our first stop will be in the archeological zone of Uxmal, one of the most important centers of the Mayan culture. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon arrival in Merida with free time for shopping or further visits. Overnight.
Morning visit of the “white city” of Merida, so called because of its colonial buildings. A stop in the “zocalo” (main square) is included to visit the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Town Hall and the Montejo House. At the end departure to Valladolid, a charming colonial town with a beautiful Cathedral. Lunch in a local restaurant. Then we proceed to Cancún. Overnight in the chosen hotel. Read more
We really want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the trip. We visited Tulum, Coba, chIcheniza, Ek-balam, Uxmal, Palemque, Bekan, Balenku ...and many more! The sites are so differents and amazing. Isla Mujeres was the best place to slow down. We like cities of Valadolid, Campeche and Merida. Sisal and Izamal are very very charming too. Volevo ringraziare tutte le persone che hanno organizzato e ci hanno accompagnato in questo giro del Messico per due settimane. Grazie a Gabriele con il quale ho impostato il tour, grazie a Giulia e Roberto che sono stati bravissimi e molto preparati specialmente la Giulia che merita tantissimi complimenti per la sua capacità di raccontare le storie avvenute durante i Maya. Veramente brava come guida e come persona. Al nostro caro Daniel che ci ha portato a conoscere e capire il popolo Maya e quello ' vero' messicano. Ci ha fatto provare il tipico cibo messicano fatto in casa. Poi volevo complimentarmi con le altre persone che hanno tenuto monitorato i nostri passaggi. Ci avete chiamato per sentire come procedeva e come dovevamo comportarci l'indomani. Ovviamente tutte persone che abitano in Messico e che lavorano con i turisti. Poi e' arrivata Sofia che con il suo sorriso ci ha proposto un mini tour nelle grotte del rio secreto. Magnifico direi!!!
