Meets and greets by your local Asia Natural Tour appointed English speaking tour guide and private transfer to the hotel for check-in. Cold water and fresh towels are available on board of the vehicle. Welcome drink upon check in, and time to freshen up in your room. Lunch on your own account. Angkor Wat & Its Prototype

At 04:40 picked up from the hotel by private A/C deluxe car with local English speaking guide and transfer to visit of Angkor Wat which is the most fascinating and largest Hindu Angkor temple highlight brought Cambodian fame out to the world. “Angkor Wat is the ultimate expression of Khmer genius – an awe-inspiring temple that is stunning for both its grand scale and its incredible detail. Walk out to moat of Angkor Wat, when only your team is there where you will have your take away breakfast after the visit. After breakfast, transfer for 1h20 directly to visit Beng Mealea temple (11th C.) located 60 km east of Siem Reap. The sprawling jungle temple covering over one square kilometer is largely overrun by vegetation. Constructed in a distinctly Angkor Wat style, Beng Melea preceded and may have served as a prototype for Angkor Wat. Lunch on own account. Start exploring the latest and most civilized Angkor city of Angkor Thom from well known great Gate, Bayon, the central and four gigantic faces temple, elephant terrace and the terrace of the Leper King and more temples if time permitted. By 11:00 take your awaited vehicle and head onto a local village to have some basic culture immersion experience with an appointed family who will spend with you to prepare your dishes for lunch. Dine your done dishes at the host family in a setting of local way. And paid a short visit to a local community school, while listening to their success story. Have some time to interact with the local population, and then come back to have your peaceful time at Preah Khan, the sister temple of Ta Prohm. After Preah Khan temple visit, take a soft jungle trekking for an hour crossing a French built bridge to reach a secluded temple of Ta Nei, then catch your vehicle to visit Ta Prohm temple famous for the Tomb Raider, and the temple of doom movies shooting theme. Beyond Angkor Explorers

This morning head north of Siem Reap for 40 minute drive to visit Banteay Srei, one of remote Angkor’s highlights. This temple contains the finest, most intricate carvings to be found in Angkor. Located in a remote area the temple was rediscovered in 1914 and cleared some 10 years later. It was reconstructed using the method of anastylosis by French conservator Henri March al during the 1930’s. Today the Banteay Srei is a very well preserved monument. Its exquisite ornamentations that cover most of the temple show great skill and precision. The visit the Cambodian Landmine Museum and Relief Facility on the way to understand a little bit about the Cambodia war, its affects and present effort to rehabilitate the country. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon drive to visit Kampong Pluk is a cluster of three villages of stilted houses built within the floodplain of the Tonle Sap about 16 km southeast of Siem Reap. The villages are primarily Khmer and have about 3,000 inhabitants between them. Flooded mangrove forest surrounds the area and is home to a variety of wildlife including crab-eating macaques. We will take 30 minutes aboard traditional wooden boats for the trip to visit Kompong Pluk. Cruising down a narrow waterway, we enter this medieval floating village, where the houses stand atop stilts as much as seven meters above the water. You will then have the chance to boats small wooden canoes, usually led by a village and drive through the “streets” of Kompong Pluk surrounded by flooded forest known as the mangrove. Drive back to the hotel for refreshing up. Dinner with Apsara Traditional Dance Show – no visit is complete without having one dinner with Apsara dance show at our well selected upscale restaurant with Set menu. Read more
