4 Days Central of Vietnam
The Central area of Vietnam is the longest region in the country with over 1000 kms from North to South. This region is encircled by mountains that form a natural border with Laos. Although the Central region is less famous than Hanoi, Ha Long Bay or Ho Chi Minh City, its offers a very rich heritage. In fact, the Centre of Vietnam is home to four of the five national wonders named by UNESCO as World Heritage Status sites. Three of the region’s most popular World Heritage sites are Hue Imperial Citadel, My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An Ancient Town. Hue, the former imperial capital, contains a citadel, elegant palaces, royal residences and pagodas dating back to the second century, as well as a fascinating collection of intricate royal tombs. My Son Sanctuary is a Hindu temple site nestled between jungle and mountain that was the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom from the 4th to 13th Century. Last, but definitely not least, charming Hoi An and its very well-preserved Ancient Town offers travelers a wonderful glimpse into the traditional past of Vietnam as well as being a shopper’s paradise and culinary mecca.
