DAY 1
Arrival
Arrive in Addis Ababa at Bole International airport, meet our representative and then transfer to the hotel.
Addis Ababa, 1 night
DAY 2
Tana Monastires and Blue Nil
Transfer to the airport and fly to Bahirdar by ET126 at 07:50hr. After check in to the hotel set out for a boat trip on Lake Tana to see beautiful island monasteries and their valuable treasures which includes biblical wall paintings, crowns of different Ethiopian Kings, ancient illuminated parchment books, superb crosses etc. In the afternoon\n, drive to the magnificent Blue Nile Falls; it is about 400 meter wide with full flood (in June, July and August to mid September). DAY 3
Gondar Calstle
In the morning, proceed to Gondar. Then, tour of Gondar which includes the visit of Royal Enclosure with its magnificent castles dated from the 17th and 18th century (world heritage site), the bath of king Fasiledes, and the remarkable church of Debrebrihan Selassie with its breathtaking 17th century wall and ceiling paintings. Lalibela Rock Hwen Churches
Transfer to the airport to fly to Lalibela by ET122 at 08:35hr. After check in to the hotel visit the first group of King Lalibela's 12th.C.Rockhewn churches (World Heritage Site). Although all of these churches are carved out of huge blocks of rocks, each of them displays unique architectural features from the other. Read more

Yemrehan Kirsto
Early in the morning, excursion drive to the magnificent built up cave church of King Yemrehana Kirstos. This atmospheric church is even older than that of King Lalibela’s Rock-hewn churches. In the afternoon, visit of the second group of Lalibela churches

DAY 6
Axum sites
Transfer to the airport to fly to Axum by ET122 at 09:25hr. In Axum, you visit the famous stele park with its huge monolithic obelisks, the ruined palace of the Queen of Sheba, ancient stone inscriptions, the ruined palace of king kaleb and his son, subterranean tombs of different Axumite kings, the church of St. Mary of Zion which is believed to house the Original Ark of the covenant etc. Read more

DAY 7
Return to Addis Ababa and de
Finalize your visit of Axum and get transferred to the airport and fly back to Addis Ababa by ET129 at 09:35hr.Then, you will have half day sightseeing tour of Addis Ababa which includes the National Museum, the Ethnological Museum in the former palace of King Hailesillassie and the superb Holy Trinity Cathedral. Finally, transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Read more
