Today we will be riding to different directions along flat steppe terrain and explore cultural remains of ancient nomads. BLD
Early morning we will leave to Gurvanbulag soum (county) of Bulgan province, the unique combination where mountains, forest and Gobi-type landscapes are all in one location. Drive will take about 5 hours for 300kms. In the late afternoon we will reach the area and members of the community will greet us according to Mongolian custom and hospitality. You will enjoy a circular day ride along the mountain valley. Late afternoon enjoy Horse racing as playing by Shagai, ankle bones of animals. While visiting nomads you will see part of nomad daily life, learn many customs and traditional tackles. BLD
Today we will start our ride in the morning and head to next relay (horse station) for 30kms through the open steppe where ancient horse relay of Mongolian Empire had been passed. Our ride will continue for more 30kms to famous Ugii Lake, located in the mid of steppe, which has abundant species of plants, fishes and birds. BLD
Enjoy ride along Orkhon valley that holds many visual and historical remains of different states established by nomad tribes in ancient time. You can feel and realize interesting history and centuries’ old life in this great steppe. BLD
Today we would continue our ride to Khushuu Tsaidam, a famous culture-historical site where many statues of ancient Turkish Empire were found. Exploring the area. Ride to Khushuu Tsaidam Ger camp. BLD
Our last day ride will head to Kharakhorum town. You could complete your task to bring a secret letter to ancient capital city of Great Mongolian Empire. Reach a last relay of Mongol Horse Post and hand over your letter to a scholar. Together with the scholar you will find out a secret of the letter. Enjoy Nomadic Party and Folk concert. BLD Read more
Visit Erdene Zuu monastery, the largest and first Mongolian Buddhist temple complex built on the remains of Kharakhorum city. Visit other interesting sites around Kharakhorum. Then we will visit a local cooperative to attend a workshop for making felt items by hand. BLD
In the early morning travel back to Ulaanbaatar for 360kms. Transfer to your hotel. End of the service. BLD
