The 9 day Delta & Falls Safari is the perfect way to travel from Windhoek to visit two of the world’s natural wonders, the Okavango Delta in Botswana and the mighty Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. This trip stands alone, but it is also designed to be completed in combination with most of our other scheduled itineraries. You will spend one night with the San Bushmen and then on for two nights beside a pristine lagoon in the Delta and then travel back into Namibia to traverse, over two nights the little visited Caprivi Region. Back into Botswana to Kasane for a boat cruise into the Chobe National Park and then on to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and “The Smoke That Thunders”, the awesome Victoria Falls.
Highlights of this 14 day self drive lodging tour include hiking up the colour rich Waterberg Plateau, game drives into eastern Etosha National Park, the huge Baobab tree in Rundu, the Bwabata and Nkasa Rupara National parks in the Caprivi, the Chobe National Park at Kasane, and the majestic Victoria Falls. This is one of our most popular safaris. It provides a great combination of some of Southern Africa’s biggest attractions. We will start in Windhoek and after a four day visit to Etosha National Park which is Namibia’s and one of Africa’s biggest and best known parks, we will continue up to the Caprivi Strip of Namibia. Here we will explore the lesser known Bwabwata and Mahango National Parks as well as the big rivers in the Caprivi, the Okavango, Kwando and Zambezi Rivers. Finally, we will move on to Chobe National Park in Botswana and finish off in Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. We will do lots of game drives and boat cruises and stay in top quality lodges along the way. We can extend this safari to include Sossusvlei and Damaraland in Namibia as well as the rest of Botswana and/or Zambia.
Clients are Picked from the Airport and dropped at A'Zambezi Safari Lodge. From this day till the departure day, clients will have an Adventure, Safari and Cultural experience involving 3 Countries. The clients will have the tour of the falls from both the Zimbabwe and Zambian side. Clients will also have a Livingstone Town and Museum Tour and of course an afternoon visit to the Livingstone Island, home of the Devil's Pool depending on the Water levels. Under this package the clients have a whole day safari experience in the Chobe National Park, Botswana.
