You will make a tour through Bogota to discover the city's numerous and colorful walls, which symbolize liberty and freedom. They are the soul of the city ! Bogota "Street Art" is among the most diverse in the world and very much representative of the current Colombian society
... You will also visit the Parque de los periodistas, the Chorro de Quevedo and the Concordia Plaza to admire this living art (English speaking guide).
Free lunch in a typical restaurant to try local specialties (Ajiaco, Tamal, santafeno chocolate…)
After lunch, you will go to the Gold Museum, or “Museo del Oro” which shows the biggest worldwide collection of golden pre-Columbian objects. You will visit the Botero foundation which exposes famous Columbian artists’ paintings and sculptures as well as famous artists’ private collections such as Picasso and Braque.
Departure to la Escuela restaurant where a teacher and his/her students will welcome you. You will have to choose between the following options: How to prepare Plantains, Dough and fried food or Quinoa salad. Moreover, apart from the cooking class you selected, you will learn how to prepare the famous Panela water, a drink made with sugarcane that comes in the form of a block. At the end of this 3-hour cooking class, you will eat what you prepared and will congratulate yourself on your new talents! (Spanish speaking chef)
