MORNING - On this private, guided half day tour, your expert local guide will collect you from your hotel and drive you to the renowned Médoc vineyard area of the Bordeaux region. During the tour you'll be given exclusive access to a couple of the most distinguished wineries of the Médoc region, one a Grand Cru classified estate and the other a smaller family run estate. Today, you head to the coast west of Bordeaux. Your private guide will collect you from your hotel and take you to the beautiful Arcachon Bay. There, you'll marvel at the Dunes du Pilat, which at over 100m high, are the largest sandunes in Europe! If you've got the legs then you'll have the opportunity to climb to the top and take in the incredible views of the sea in one direction and the forest in the other. Your day will continue with a beautiful trip out into the bay aboard a pinasse which is a traditional boat from the Arcachon bay. Today you have an early start to get to your RDV point for a beautiful 4-5 hour hot air ballon experience over some of some of the most prestigious vineyard estates in the Bordeaux region. The pilot for your 1h-1h30 flight is a vineyard owner himself who has expert knowledge of this rich wine-producing area. Guests will assist with the preparation of the balloon which will land at a vineyard estate where you will visit the vineyards, enjoy wine tastings and a bite to eat too. You'll return to Bordeaux and have a relaxed afternoon to explore this beautiful city at your leisure and prepare for the evening ahead. At around 8pm, you'll step on board the Sicambre for an evening's cruise to experience the full beauty of Bordeaux from the river. During the 2 hour cruise you'll discover the UNESCO façades and illuminated bridges of Bordeaux, whilst enjoying a delicious dinner prepared on board, using fresh local products.
