Leave to Kampong Khleang floating village and take a boat trip through the fishing villages across Tonle Sap, the biggest lake in Southeast Asia. Zunächst 2 Tage in Luang Prabang, danach Weiterflug nach Hanoi, um von dort aus die Vietnam-Rundreise zu starten. Sämtliche vietnamesischen Reiseleiter verfügten über hervorragende Deutschkenntnisse und sind stets auf unsere Besichtigungswünsche eingegangen. Die Bootstour mit Übernachtung in der Halong-Bucht war ein einmaliges Erlebnis, das wir nur empfehlen können. Das Hotel am Strand von Ho Thram (oder so ähnlich :) war exzellent gewählt, da wir uns hier 3 Tage von der anstrengenden Rundreise erholen konnten. Am meisten gefallen hat: Der reibungslose Ablauf; die Qualität der Reiseleitung, da sämtliche Reiseleiter umfassend auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen sind und über hervorragende Kenntnisse zur Landesgeschichte / Kultur verfügt haben; die Auswahl der Unterkünfte mitten im Zentrum; die Art des Transports in gut ausgestatteten PKWs Read more

Zu meiner Rundreise: Ich wurde stets pünktlich an den Flughäfen und in den Hotels abgeholt. Einziger Zwischenfall war die defekte Maschine am 8.8.17 von der Mann Yadanarpon Airlines. Es musste ein Ersatzflieger der Golden Myanmar Airlines von Yangon eingeflogen werden, der Zwischenfall hatte eine Verspätung von 4 Stunden zur Folge. Zudem wurden wir bei der Rückfahrt vom goldenen Felsen Zeugen eines Scooter-Unfalls wo ich (als Arzt) die Notversorgung und den Transport ins nächstgelegene Spital übernahm. Sehr zufrieden war ich mit sämtlichen Guides und deren Fahrer, alles klappte nahtlos, auch war mein Guide über die Verspätung informiert und wartete ab. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich die Guides Till in Bagan, Min Min in Inle und Kendy in Myanmar, alle sehr hilfsbereit und sehr professionell. Beim Fahrer möchte ich Jo und Mr. Weng erwähnen, sehr liebe und hilfsbereite Menschen die mir sehr ans Herz gewachsen sind. Auch die Kommunikation mit Ihnen und die Planung war für mich sehr positiv. Wir haben uns für die Myanmarreise sehr kurzfristig (ca. 4 Wochen vor Abflug) entschieden. Deshalb und weil uns die Zeit zur Vorbereitung gefehlt hat, haben wir uns zum ersten Mal für ein 'rundum sorglos' Paket inkl. Reiseführer entschieden. Die dreiwöchige Reise hätte nicht besser organisiert sein können, auch wenn wir sie sechs Monate im Voraus geplant hätten. Das Paket war nicht billig aber jeden Euro wert. Wir haben die klassischen Reiseorte besucht: Ankunft/Abflug in Yangoon, Bagan, Mandalay, Kalaw, drei Tage Wandern, Inle See und zum Abschluss ein paar Tage zum Entspannen am Ngapali Beach. Gut hat uns vor allem gefallen, dass wir in der Regel mehrere Nächte an einem Ort verbracht haben und an jeder Station schon im ersten Angebot auch 'freie' Tage, d.h Tage ohne organisierte Besichtigung, eingeplant waren. Überall hatten wir einen lokalen Reiseführer(in), alle sprachen sehr gut englisch, sind auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und haben uns Myanmar auf unterschiedliche Weise näher gebracht. Read more
