Ilulissat - cruise among the icebergs (a
Breakfast in the hotel. Pick up of thermal equipment in the center. Today you will embark on a memorable cruise (3 hours) among the icebergs of the Ilulissat fjord, an unforgettable experience! If you are lucky, you can also spot seals or whales that regularly live in these waters. You will make stops to contemplate the blocks of ice that come off the coast, creating thunderous explosions that break the absolute silence of the bay. Hot tea and coffee will be served during the excursion. English guide + VOS assistant. Regular shared excursion. Return to Ilulissat and free afternoon. Dinner under own arrangements. Ilulissat - husky sledding (approx. 2 h)
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure for a sleigh ride by Husky (2h). Husky sleds are an Inuit tradition dating back 2000 years and still represent one of the main means of transport in Greenland. Your guide in charge of the sled will lead you to a vantage point over Disko Bay, and if the ice is thick enough, you will cross stretches of frozen sea. The landscapes are impressive! Ilulissat + optional activities
Breakfast in the hotel. Free day for optional activities OPTION: Excursion to Sermermiut, ancient Inuit settlement (3h). Sermermiut is located 1.5 km south of Ilulissat. Walk along a scenic path on the fjord (about 3 hours) with spectacular views of the icebergs on the horizon. Over the course of 4000 years, several Inuit tribes have settled in Sermermiut and we will experience traces of these settlements. English speaking guide. Regular shared excursion. OPTION: Excursion with snowmobile (3h) Are you ready for a thrilling adventure? The English speaking guide will take you along spectacular routes, you will cross frozen lakes with panoramic views over the Ilulissat fjords. Good value for money. The tour guide in Oslo should just retire, she obviously was there just to point out how inferior the rest of the world was compared to Norway. The tour was very good, just what we wanted. Oslo was great, accommodation was very good. Getting around was so easy, not what you expect in a city, with the train station right at the hotel front door. Every thing was arranged very well. Have a guide with us all the way, made the organisation very straight forward. If there was one thing I would change I would have a hotel in Bergen like the Bristol instead of the Augustin because it is just too far out of the city centre, even though it's only 8min. Read more

My one comment would be to for VOS to provide some additional information in their materials on things like what sights are covered in their included cities tours - so as to be able to better plan free time (e.g. in Oslo).
