Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer in a 4WD vehicle to Natural Monument Semuc Champey. It consists of a natural 300 m limestone bridge, under which passes the Cahabón River. Atop the bridge is a series of stepped, turquoise pools, a popular swimming and hiking attraction. Later, visit the caves where the Cahabón River hides. Lunch and dinner on your own. Early in the morning, transfer to Guatemala´s International Airport to take the domestic flight towards Puerto Barrios, the Caribbean. Boat tour in Río Dulce. We start visiting Castillo San Felipe, a Spanish colonial fort at the entrance to Lake Izabal used to protect the region from pirates. Continue in the river admiring the wetlands, flora, and fauna. Breakfast at the hotel. Today we visit the most emblematic sites surrounding Livingston. Boat tour in the Caribbean ocean towards "7 Altares" with its 7 waterfalls of turquoise waters in a jungle. Later, visit Río Cocoli for a panoramic view of the wetlands. In the afternoon relax at the white-sanded beach "Playa Blanca". Lunch box. Dinner on your own. Breakfast at the hotel. Today we get into the jungle of the Caribbean. Boat transfer towards the destination. We walk through the jungle on well-marked paths until reaching a cave (Tiger cave) and a waterfall (approx. 30 min). Then we continue until reaching an indigenous village.
