- Arrival in Belgrade airport - Transfer to city of Valjevo (1,5h) - Tour of Gradac (optional) - Overnight stay Your guide will pick you up at Belgrade Airport. After packing our bags, we head on to the mountain town of Valjevo (1.5 hours) where we’ll prepare for our upcoming adventure. Depending on the available time, we’ll today take a short hike to explore river Gradac, located in the vicinity of Valjevo. It is considered to be one of the cleanest of its kind in the Balkans, its waters being completely drinkable. The canyon surrounding it is tucked between myriad of hills and cliffs, accessible only by foot. Our walk is about 4-5 km long, which we’ll take to get to know each other and discuss our canyoning adventure that lies ahead. We will venture into the canyon through a paved road leaning against the river itself, crossing it from time to time and even bathing in it during our breaks. Our journey through the canyon will last about 2-3 hours. In case the water is too cold, all participants will receive neoprene socks, which will keep them warm. The trek will end at the Celije Monastery. Despite its remote and secluded location, the monastery has been razed and rebuilt several times since its creation in the 13th Century. After touring the site you’ll be driven back to your accommodation for a well-deserved dinner and good night rest. Read more

Valjevo, 1 night

- Short transfer to the start of Tribuca river (1,5h) - Canyoning adventure through Tribuca river (4-5h) - Transfer to Zlatibor (2h) - Overnight stay After breakfast you’ll set out on your first canyoning adventure - the Tribuca River canyon. It is so narrow and remote it went undiscovered for years. Your guide will kit you out with a wetsuit, harness and helmet, then you’ll delve into the prehistoric-seeming canyon for 4-5 hours of abseiling, pool jumps and swimming. You’ll negotiate 5 cliffs as high as 25m, and ultimately emerge at the far end of the canyon feeling quite accomplished. From there, it will take around 30 min of relaxed pace to our transport who will wait with our dry clothes and lunch. Relax on the riverbanks, then return to your accommodation to rest a bit, and then take a short drive to our accommodation in Zlatibor just in time to enjoy a well-deserved dinner. - Transfer to Zabljak (3h) - Hike around Durmitor’s glacial lakes - Overnight stay in Zabljak We rise early today, and after breakfast, we head on to our next location in neighboring Montenegro. It will take a bit of a ride, but in the end,d it will be absolutely worth it. Upon our arrival and brief rest to freshen up and recover from our long trip, we’ll go for a nice and easy trek of Durmitor’s glacial lakes dating to prehistoric times. Following our walk around Black Lake we’ll have an opportunity to visit one of other, nearby glacial lakes, but we could also simply lounge around and enjoy in the astonishing views offered by our accommodation in Žabljak. The depths of these lakes harbor numerous underwater passages, through which water flows into the rivers of Tara and Piva, representing a distinct natural phenomenon, a bifurcation of sorts. Black Lake, as well as the remaining glacial lakes in the vicinity of Durmitor, are collectively known as the Eyes of the Mountain. In the afternoon, we’ll have an option of simply enjoying the view, resting under the sun. Or, have a light trek to one of nearby mountains for a more active afternoon. - Transfer to Nevidio canyon (30min) - Canyoning adventure through Nevidio Canyon (4h) - Return and overnight stay in Zabljak (30min) This day is booked for jumping and bathing. Being the most popular canyon of all, it offers the joy comparable to a true aquatic park. It is so unique that using ropes aren’t necessary. Instead, we’ll jump (completely safely) from the rocks 3 – 10 m high. After our aquatic adventure, we’ll dry out and head back to our accommodation for dinner and rest. Read more

- Transfer to Bar (3 h) - Guided tour of Old town Bar - Free beach time in the afternoon - Overnight stay in Bar After breakfast, we’ll head on to visit the ancient city of Bar. It’s the biggest urban ruin in Montenegro – the bearer of the turbulent history and past medieval civilizations. It is located 4km away from modern Bar, on a huge stone surrounded by cliffs from three sides and by rampart on the west side. Such location offers a panoramic view of the green fields of Bar, new part of Bar, harbor, open sea and Rumija mountain. - Transfer to Medjurecje (30 min) - Canyoning adventure through Medjurecki Canyon (4h) - Return and overnight stay in Bar (30 min) As canyoning is a specific activity, it is necessary to have a short briefing before entering the canyon, where we will get to know the equipment, the way of moving and behaving around the canyons in general. Located just next to the old city Bar, Medjurecki canyon is reaching the mountains on the south coast of Montenegro. During the next 4-5 hours we will follow the water flow, overcome up to 10 meters high waterfalls and waterslides that lead to some lovely natural pools. Jumps, columns and slides. - Transfer to Peć (5h) - Guided tour of the city and Patriarchal monastery of Peć from the XIII century - Overnight stay in Peć After breakfast, we’ll again head on for a longer road trip, driving to the city of Peć in Kosovo. There, we’ll take a guided city tour of this troubled city, explaining its complicated past, current predicament and uncertain future. On top of this, we’ll take a visit to Peć monastery, one of the oldest in Serbia and the Balkans, being one of, if not the most, important Ortodox church in the Balkans. Located in magnificent Rugova Canyon just 8km west from city centre of Peć. The exploration into this cave system is still on-going and up to now the whole system of corridors is more than 13km in length. Number 12-ve on the world list of highest caves +325m and deepest dive in Kosovo -370m. Adventure cave trekking is fun and unusual, you’ll see many beautiful cave formations, you can even swim in the underground lakes and visit spectacular waterfalls inside this cave. We go to the capital called Skopje, famous for various different statues celebrating Alexander the Great. After arrival we’ll have the whole day to simply enjoy this interesting city, while walking around, discovering different city landmarks. And to finish it off, we’ll visit one of the biggest wineries of North Macedonia, Brzanov winery, where we’ll taste some of their most prized wines. - Transfer to Agia Kori (30 min) - Canyoning adventure through Agia Kori canyon (4h) - Return and overnight stay in Leptokarya (30 min) We have our breakfast and afterwards transfer directly to our first Greek canyon. The first canyon we’ll visit is Agia Kori. This particular canyon is distinguished by 15 waterfalls, the highest of which is 20 meters. The exit from Agia Kori is located next to the church named - Agia Kori, after which the whole gorge and its canyon got its name. After our first foray into these local canyons, we’ll have lunch in the nearby tavern and then transfer to Leptokarya. The canyon itself completely changes its morphology several times during our canyoning, so you’ll have a feeling that you were in 3 canyons, not in the one and only - Enipeas, bathing place of the Gods from Olympus (according to some unverified sources). - Transfer to Niš (5h) - Guided city tour of Niš - Overnight stay Today, we head back, transferring from Leptokarya to Niš. Niš was an administrative, military and trade center of various states and empires, during its long history. In the area of today’s Nis, Roman Emperors Constantine the Great and Constantius III were born in the ancient city called Naissus. The geographical position of Niš has made it a strategically important and thus an inviting city for many conquerors. During our stay, we’ll visit the Niš Fortress as well as the famous “Ćele kula”. “Ćele kula” is a unique monument on a worldwide scale. The tower was erected solely from the skulls of fallen Serbian warriors, killed on Ceger, near Nis, in a battle that took place on May 31, 1809. It was built very soon after the battle, according to the orders of Hursid Pasha, then Turksih commander of Nis. During our visit of the city, we’ll stop by the famous Bohemian street in Nis, where we’ll have our lunch. In the evening we’ll head on to our accommodation for a well-deserved rest and dinner. - Transfer to Belgrade (2,5h) - Guided city tour of Belgrade - Overnight stay After breakfast, we pack and head on for a warm welcome into our capital city, were we’ll first transfer you to the hotel to leave your stuff and freshen up, and then take you on a guided tour of cities most famous sites. On top of that, if we have some time left, you’ll visit Avala hill, a highest point in Belgrade with its interesting stories of being a sacred ground many centuries ago. In the evening, we’ll organize a traditional, congratulatory dinner in one of the famous restaurants in Belgrade, to celebrate and conclude our wonderful adventure, over a nice glass of wine and traditional music.
