Day 2. (27th of April) Bishkek city. Upon arrival at the international airport “Manas”, you will be met by a guide of “Ak Sai Travel”. Transfer to hotel in Bishkek. Rest until noon to recover from the flights. Lunch in a local cafe. Sightseeing tour in Bishkek: Ala Too Square, The White House, Parliament House, Lenin’s Monument. Day 3. (28th of April). Bishkek - Ala Archa National Park– Bishkek. (80 km) Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, we drive around 40 km out of Bishkek to Ala Archa National Park (45min one way) for a walk. You can go for a walk along the river or hike up to the waterfall If you are in a good shape. Bishkek – 800 m a.s.l. The parking lot at Ala Archa 2 000 m a.s.l. Transfer by car. Hike up to the waterfall (4-5 hours to two sides) +600 m The waterfall is 2 600 m a.s.l. After excursion in Ala Archa return to the city. Lunch in the park /local cafe. In the second half of the day we visit Oak Park, the Victory Square, and the large department store in Bishkek - ZUM Dinner at a local restaurant in Bishkek. Day 4. (29th of April) Bishkek city - Issyk Kul Lake via Burana tower.(280 km) After breakfast, we drive to Issyk Kul Lake. On the way we visit Burana Tower (old minaret) near Tokmok town. That minaret was constructed in Balasagun town; one of the capitals of Karakhanid State existed in the X-XII centuries AD. Lunch in the local Kazakh family in Tokmok and master-class on cooking traditional dishes. In the afternoon there is a three hours’ drive to the Issyk-Kul Lake (north shore), the second largest alpine lake in the world. Accommodation and dinner in the hotel. Day 5. (30th of April) Issyk Kul lake – Karakol city via Chon Aksuu gorge. (150 km) Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast we visit Local History and Ethnography Museum, where we can learn more about the history of the kyrgyz people from the VIII AD till our days and visit the Petroglyphs Museum in Cholpon Ata, a temple in open air left by the Scythians and Huns are dated from the IX and VIII BC to the III and IV centuries AD. Also, we will visit the cultural center in the open air - Rukh Ordo. Lunch in the local cafe. After lunch, we go to the Chon Ak Suu gorge before called “Grigorievskoe”, for short walks. Day 6. (1st of April) Karakol town – Jety Oguz gorge and Barskaun gorge - Tamga village. (150 km) Breakfast in the hotel. Visit Dungan mosque, a unique construction in Chinese style, but serving as a mosque, also you will see Russian Orthodox Church – Holy Trinity Cathedral made of wood without any nails, then you will see History Museum and Ethnography Museum in Karakol. Departure from Jety-Oguz, we can see the rock more famous as “The broken Heart Rock”. Lunch on the road – picnic type. After lunch we will continue the road towards the Barskaun gorge, we can see the monument of Yuriy Gagarin and admire the beautiful landscapes. Day 7. (2nd of April) Tamga village– Fairy Tale Canyon (Skazka)– Bishkek. (320 km) Breakfast in the Guest House. You will make a stop at one of the most beautiful places for a short walk. The place is Fairy Tale Canyon (“Skazka”). After a walk, we continue our way to Bishkek. Today our way goes along the southern shore of Issyk Kul lake, we passed through the Boom gorge. Arrival in Bishkek city. Lunch on the way. Arrival in Bishkek, accommodation in the hotel. As the option. Dinner at local restaurant with folklore musical show. Read more
Day 8. (3rd of May) Bishkek – Airport Manas. (30 km) In the morning you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight home.
