Around 9 am in the morning, a guide will pick you up from your hotel in Bariloche to take you along 60 kms during 4 hours to the different places of interest along the coast of the Nahuel Huapi Lake. The lake is surrounded by clover and joins the Avenida Bustillo, where we will start our tour.
We will
first head to Playa Bonita (Beautiful Beach), only 8 kms away, from where we will have a nice view of Huemul Island. Then, we will go on until we reached Mount Companiaro, offering a chairlift to take you up to 1050 meters and observe the immensity of Lakes Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno, the Trenol Lagoon, San Pedro, Llao Llao peninsuls , Victoria Island, the hills Otto, López , Goye Cathedral and Bariloche city.
The tour continues to the imposing Hotel Llao Llao and San Eduardo Chapel fine architectural gems of the region. There is also Puerto Scarf from where boats depart for Victoria Island and Myrtle Forest. We will see the Angostura Bridge over the same name river, joining the lakes Moreno, Nahuel Huapi and then Lopez Bay, at the foot of the homonymous hill. Finally, we reach a natural balcony offering a fantastic Panoramic Spot to observe Moreno Lake.
Then, we will go touring Victoria Island & Myrtle Forest. We depart on a boat from Puerto Pañuelo to get to Victoria Island while enjoying the pleasure of sailing on a landscape of snowy mountains and lush vegetation. Pine forests, and birch coihues, seem to save stories and legends destined to surprise with its mysteries to the travelers. A reserve of native animals (Pudu pudu) and exotic (red deer and golden pheasants), ranger school and a warm lodge give life to the island. After a few more minutes of navigation, the tour continues up to Quetrihue peninsula which has the famous myrtle forest (arrayanes), unique in the world because of its size, density and development. Return to your hotel around 8.30 pm
