From the start of the 2018 Iditarod race to aurora viewing in Denali to the 2018 BP Ice Art Championships in Fairbanks - this 2018 Iditarod package is limited to a maximum 12 guests for an intimate, private look at the 2018 Iditarod, winter adventures in Alaska and Life in Denali as well as unique aurora viewing opportunities!

Wednesday, February 28

This morning we will travel south along the Turnagain Arm with a local guide to the seaside town of Whittier. Here we board the Qayaq Chief to explore Prince William Sound and Blackstone Bay. Weather permitting, we will beach the vessel at Blackstone Bay to explore the beach, taking photographs of the glaciers and possibly see some beautiful icebergs floating! This full day tour includes roundtrip guided transportation, a boxed lunch and a 4hr cruise in Blackstone Bay. We will take scenic photo stops along the Turnagain Arm this afternoon. Also included is a complete tour through the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center where we will visit with bears, musk ox, moose, elk herd, caribou herd, and more Alaskan wild animals - these are our guaranteed animal friends! The animals are right at home in their 200-acre habitat; even the once-thought-extinct wood bison make for a picturesque photo with the amazing backdrop of the Chugach Range and Turnagain Arm. Also included is the Mt. Alyeska Aerial Tramway and a welcome dinner on our first night of adventuring. Lunch & Dinner Included Read more
